About Maddie’s Session

We decided to head out to a rocky New England beach in mid-morning of early September and let me tell you, it was pure magic. Maddie was an absolute vision in her three different outfits. First, she wore a pair of light-wash jeans and a simple white tank top that gave off such a fresh and natural vibe. Then, she switched it up with a pair of jeans and this gorgeous chocolate brown blouse that really brought out her eyes. And don’t even get me started on her final outfit – a flowy white dress with so much movement, it felt like she was part of a fairytale!

But here’s the twist that really took the pictures to a whole new level. Maddie threw on the cutest black varsity jacket on top of her white tank and jeans combo, and oh my goodness, it was perfection. Those shots turned out so cool and edgy, yet still maintained that touch of elegance.

We started off the shoot by capturing some breathtaking images on the rocky terrain. The contrast between the rugged rocks and Maddie’s beauty was something out of a dream. The way the ocean waves crashed against the rocks while she struck those killer poses created such a luxurious feel to the whole experience.

After the rocks, we moved to the soft white sands, where the light played with the colors and created this ethereal glow. Maddie looked like a goddess surrounded by the golden sun-kissed sand. We took advantage of the seagrasses and goldenrod flowers nearby, incorporating them into the shots and adding an organic touch to the composition.

And let me just mention Maddie’s stunning hair. She has this long, shiny brunette hair that she added a bit of curl to, and it looked absolutely stunning. Every time the wind caught her curls, it added this additional layer of beauty and movement to the photos. It was like her hair was telling a story of its own.

Overall, the whole experience was truly magical. The combination of Maddie’s natural beauty, the gorgeous New England beach, and the way the light danced around us created such an incredible atmosphere for capturing her Framingham senior pictures. I feel incredibly lucky to have been a part of this shoot, and I can’t wait to show Maddie the final photos!

Alright, that’s all for now. I’m off to edit these stunning shots and deliver them to Maddie. Stay tuned for more photography adventures coming your way soon!

Scheduling Your Senior Portraits with Christina Runnals Photography

If you will need your senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken in the autumn of your senior year. This means that you will need to schedule your pictures a good amount of time before then. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled and your invoice paid by May or June of your junior year. However, I very often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire year in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.

What is the best time of year to take senior pictures?

A question I get all the time is: “What is the best time of year to take senior pictures?” Most girls prefer August or September. On the other hand, I personally prefer September or October! It’s consistently less humid, less sticky, and more golden :-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the sunset date you want, there is an option to book a sunrise session or mid-day session. You should also absolutely add your name to my waitlist.
