Welcome! I'm Christina, a South Shore newborn photographer and mom of two little boys living in Scituate, Massachusetts. I specialize in using natural light to create a beautiful glow in my images. My photography style has been described as light, airy, bright, and natural.
I am so excited to provide South Shore families with a luxury lifestyle newborn portrait experience. I offer three packages for you to choose from, and am always happy to answer any questions you may have!

In your gallery, you will have many ways to turn your beautiful images into keepsakes. The gallery is set up to make ordering professional lab prints, canvases, and other keepsakes very easy. In addition, I can create a gorgeous heirloom photo book or a customized engraved wooden keepsake box for you.

Within two to three weeks of your session, you'll receive an email with a link to an online gallery. This gallery will allow you to download your images in high resolution.

Within about a week or two of your session, you will receive a beautiful preview movie of some of my favorite image from your session. Also, make sure you are following me on Instagram and Facebook! Sometimes I will post a sneak peek, if time allows me to!

And if you have other children who are toddlers- scratch EVERYTHING I just said about your session, haha!!! I will probably start out by getting to know your little bundle/s of energy and engaging with them while you deal with some last minute preparations. Then, we'll go from there!
The big day has arrived! I will arrive at your home at our scheduled time. Most likely I will begin our session by snapping a few nursery detail shots, if you indeed have your nursery already in tact ;-). If you don't- no problem! From there, I will help you to wrap up your baby. As an experienced South Shore newborn photographer, I have several tricks up my sleeve when swaddling your baby! If your baby is nice and sleepy at the beginning of our session, I may begin by taking some individual pictures of him or her. Should she is seem as though she would prefer you to hold her for a bit, I will begin with some family shots.
Should you have scheduled your newborn pictures in advance of your due date, you will of course need to let me know when your baby is born! As soon as you do, we will schedule a date that is preferably within 14-20 days of your baby's birth.
Your Session
In addition to the questionnaire in your confirmation email, you will also receive my detailed Newborn Session Guide. What you wear for your photos is extremely important to achieve my signature light and natural look. You will need to wear primarily light colored clothing if this is the look you desire. Off whites, creams, light muted aquas, and light gray-blues are all sophisticated colors that photograph beautifully. Your session guide will include thorough instructions on several topics. Among these topics: how to prepare your home for your session, my best tips for preparing your spouse and other children (if you have any) how to prepare your newborn, and other secrets to achieving beautiful photos!
Should you have scheduled your newborn pictures in advance of your due date, you will of course need to let me know when your baby is born! As soon as you do, we will schedule a date that is preferably within 14-21 days of your baby's birth.
Planning & Wardrobe Styling
Along with your confirmation email, you will receive a questionnaire to fill out. I love getting to know my clients ahead of time, so that we can connect on a personal level! This questionnaire is how I will find out about the rest of your family. It will help me to know what kind of pictures you are looking for. The questionnaire will also give me crucial details such as your home address and where I should park when I arrive!

Once you've read through all of the details, you'll need to book your session. To book your session, simply head to my booking page and choose your due date month. You will need to pay your deposit and sign the contract in order to secure your spot on my calendar. The date in your contract will be listed as "TBA." After you book, you'll receive a confirmation email containing lots of information about your session. If your baby has already been born, you can request a session here - sometimes I can squeeze in last minute sessions.

How do we book our session?!
This rarely happens! Newborn sessions last between 1.5 to 2 hours, and your baby will almost certainly sleep for at least 30-60 minutes of this time span, if not the entire time. I will also provide you with a guide to ensure the most sleepy baby possible for your session. And the good news is- pictures of babies with their eyes open are also adorable!
What if our baby doesn't sleep during our session?
Every photographer has their own way of doing things. My lifestyle newborn session is $850*. This includes a $50 print credit to use in your gallery. I also recommend investing in a beautiful custom fine art linen or leather album, which I can create for you.

How much should we expect to spend on our session with a South Shore newborn photographer?
As an experienced Massachusetts South Shore newborn photographer, I have come across several homes with darker walls and furniture. There are a few ways we can get around this issue to produce light filled and glowy images! One option is to take some of our photos outdoors, weather permitting! Another way to achieve the light and airy look is to ensure everyone is wearing light colored clothing, and that ALL bedding is white or cream colored.
What if we love the light and airy look, but our home is very dark?
I will gladly wrap your baby up! I do not overly pose your newborn; instead, I let him or her settle organically to produce the most natural images.
Will you wrap up our baby and pose him or her?
Soft pastels and light & neutral colors photograph seamlessly with my light and natural photography style. Once you confirm your booking, I will send you a complimentary style guide. This guide will take you through the whole process and help you to coordinate your wardrobe. I want you to look your best so that you can cherish your portraits for a lifetime! For baby, I recommend a white or light colored swaddle.
What should we (and our baby) wear for our session?
For your newborn session, I will bring along a few items. I will bring several swaddles. Upon request I can also bring a lovely changing basket with liner. I will also bring along a few other newborn tricks of the trade.
As a South Shore newborn photographer, do you bring anything along with you?
Living in Scituate, I tend to primarily serve South Shore clients. However, I am honored to have clients from all over the state and the east coast reach out to me! I do charge a fee to travel further than 15 miles from Scituate. You will be able to view all of my travel fees when you go to book your session.
Do you travel beyond the South Shore for sessions?
As an experienced South Shore newborn photographer, I am very honored to be in quite high demand. Therefore, I always suggest you book a session with me well in advance of your due date. I limit my newborn sessions to several due dates per month. However. Because of the nature of newborn sessions being during the daytime hours (vs. in the evening when my outdoor sessions typically take place), I do have some wiggle room. You should absolutely reach out to me even if you didn't schedule your session ahead of time! I can often take a last minute newborn client if the stars align!
When should we book our newborn session? Before or after our baby is born?
Yes. After your session, I will edit your images in my signature light and natural style. You will receive a link to a beautiful online gallery of your images. These images are all in high resolution and you may download them at any time.
Does the price of our session include digital images?

If you are looking for a South Shore newborn photographer, firstly make sure you know what you are looking for in a photography style! Lifestyle photography captures just what you'd think- real life! However, I do have many ways to ensure that most of the pictures I take of your "real life" reflect more of the gorgeous, calm moments of your life, and less of the chaos that sometimes can go along with having a newborn!!

I sometimes like to call my newborn photography style "the natural newborn." There are several styles of newborn photography. One style is an extremely posed type- you know what I'm talking about! Babies in the "froggy" position, perfectly resting their head in their hands. Wearing costumes and laying in adorable little prop beds. Airbrushed to almost unnatural perfection. These pictures are SO CUTE!!! And I know a lot of people love it. However, if you are checking out my website, you've probably gathered that this type of newborn photography is NOT my style. And if you're here, it's probably not your style either! As an experienced South Shore newborn photographer, the clientele I serve is looking for an organic, natural look to their pictures. They are looking for photographs that include the entire family. They are looking for gorgeous candid moments of their first snuggles with their precious new baby.
