Upcoming seniors from all over the Northeast seek out Christina Runnals Photography for their senior portraits each year, which is why we created a pre-booking process. Pre-booking simply means you will select the month you would like to have your senior portraits taken, pay a deposit, and you will be officially guaranteed a spot in that month! You will choose your official session date in April. For the highly coveted August and September dates, please be sure to pre-book at least 6-12 months in advance! (PRO-TIP FOR FIRST TIME PARENTS OF HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS- If your son or daughter is graduating in 2025, you will want to schedule their senior pictures for the summer or fall of 2025, which means you should be pre-booking or booking their session with us by May 2025 at the very latest!)
Please view travel fees if you'd like your session to be outside of the Scituate/Cohasset/Norwell/Marshfield area.
Your edited images will be uploaded to a private online gallery where you can easily download your high-resolution digital photographs to post, print, and order products such as canvases, photo books, and beautiful glass keepsake boxes.
After your session, I go through all of your images and select the best 100 or so photos to present to you in an online gallery. From there, you may choose your favorite 20-30 photos (depending on the package you chose) and I will carefully edit and lightly digitally retouch your favorites with all the latest high-end software in my signature light and natural style. You can choose additional images to be edited for an added fee.
Today's the big day! We will meet at a pre-determined time and shoot for 1-2 hours depending on the package you selected. We'll be doing lots of laughing, hair twirling, slow walking, looking off camera, and giving the camera gorgeous soft smiles - don't worry, I will guide you through ALL the posing!
After you choose your official date, you will receive an email with a link to an even more detailed questionnaire. In addition, there will be a link to a Style Guide to help you prepare for your senior portrait session. This guide will cover everything from what clothing to wear (and avoid), what to bring, what to do (and not do) in the weeks leading up to your session, and tips for hair and makeup.
In April, you will receive (before anyone else does!) a calendar of open dates that you may choose from. Senior portrait sessions take place on weekdays (Monday through Thursday). This is because beaches and other location types are much less crowded on weekdays.
Pay your deposit (the deposit fee + tax) and you are officially guaranteed a spot in the month you selected!
After you sign the contract, you will be brought to a questionnaire. You will need to provide information for both the senior and a parent. In addition, you will answer questions about the type of location/s you'd like for your session and which month you would like your session to take place in. If a certain month is missing from the list, this means that month is already filled up.
The first step in the pre-booking process is to head here to reserve your spot. You will see all of the available packages and pricing. Scroll to the bottom and click "Book Senior Portrait Reservation." Fill out your information, select a package, and choose any add-ons you'd like. Next, sign the contract.
