Upcoming seniors from all over the Northeast seek out Christina Runnals Photography for their senior portraits each year, which is why we created our Priority Booking system. Priority Booking means you’ll reserve your preferred month for senior portraits, place your deposit, and be officially guaranteed a spot during that month! Your exact session date will be selected in April. For the highly coveted August and September sessions, be sure to secure your Priority Booking at least 6–12 months in advance.
✨ Pro Tip for First-Time Senior Parents: If your son or daughter is graduating in 2027, you’ll want their portraits taken in summer or fall of 2026. That means you should have their Priority Booking secured by March 2026 at the very latest!
Please view travel fees if you'd like your session to be outside of the Scituate/Cohasset/Norwell/Marshfield area.
The final touch is your handcrafted heirloom album — a custom-designed 10x10 keepsake that tells the story of your senior year in print. I personally design each album layout for you, ensuring it feels timeless, cohesive, and worthy of display.
It arrives carefully packaged and ready to be treasured for decades. Not just something to scroll past — but something to hold, revisit, and one day pass down.
Your fully edited images will be delivered in a private online gallery where you can download high-resolution files, share with friends and family, and order heirloom products like canvases, albums, and keepsake boxes.
Everything is beautifully organized and easy to access - designed to make reliving your session just as effortless as the day itself.
After your session, I carefully curate the strongest images - typically around 100 - and present them in a private online gallery. From there, you’ll select your favorite 20–30 images (based on your collection).
Each chosen image is then hand-edited in my signature light, natural style with refined retouching. Additional images may always be added if you fall in love with more.
It’s session day. We’ll meet at our chosen location and spend 1–2 relaxed hours together, depending on your collection. Expect movement, laughter, effortless posing, and those natural, luminous moments that feel like you... just elevated.
I’ll guide you through everything. You simply show up and enjoy it.
After your date is confirmed, you’ll receive a detailed planning questionnaire along with my curated Style Guide. This guide walks you through what to wear (and what to skip), what to bring, how to prepare in the weeks leading up to your session, and tips for hair and makeup.
Every detail is thoughtfully considered so you feel confident, prepared, and completely yourself.
In April, you’ll receive a private calendar of available session dates before anyone else. Senior sessions take place on weekdays (Monday through Thursday) when beaches and favorite locations are quieter and the light is absolutely beautiful.
You’ll select your official date, and we’ll begin bringing your vision to life.
Once your deposit is submitted, your month is secured. This guarantees your place on the calendar before dates are released to the public.
Pre-booked families receive first access, first choice, and peace of mind knowing their senior season is officially underway.
After signing your contract, you’ll be guided to a short questionnaire. You’ll share details for both the senior and a parent, along with preferences for location types and the month you’re hoping for.
If a specific month isn’t listed, that simply means it has already been reserved. My calendar fills intentionally and thoughtfully so every senior receives a fully personalized experience.
The first step in the pre-booking process is to head here to reserve your month. You’ll see all available collections and pricing. Scroll to the bottom and click “Book Senior Portrait Reservation.” Select your collection, choose any add-ons you’d love, and complete your information. Once you sign the contract, you’re officially in.
All packages include high-resolution digital files with full downloading and printing rights. In addition to your digital images, every senior session also comes with a 10×10 Signature Heirloom Album, custom-designed to showcase your favorite portraits. You’ll have the option to order additional artwork as well, including professional prints, framed pieces, canvases, keepsake boxes, and more; timeless ways to enjoy your images for years to come.
Your proofing gallery arrives within one week of your session. Final edited images are delivered within two weeks of selecting your favorites. Need a few images rushed? Just ask!
Yes! October and November beach sessions are absolutely beautiful - golden grasses, soft warm light, and cozy sweater vibes.
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply reschedule - typically within the same week or even the very next day when possible.
Twins are photographed through a shared senior session with an Add a Twin option selected at the time of booking. This allows time for each senior to be photographed individually, as well as together. I highly recommend adding additional session time so both seniors have plenty of dedicated shooting time and variety in their final galleries, without the experience feeling rushed.
Absolutely! Pets and meaningful props are always welcome and help personalize your session.
Every senior receives my Senior Style Guide, filled with outfit inspiration, color guidance, and styling tips. We’ll also talk through outfit ideas during your pre-session consultation, where I’ll help you refine your looks and make sure everything feels cohesive and true to you. Together, we’ll make the planning process feel simple, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable.
During your consultation, we’ll chat through locations together and choose the perfect spot for your style - beaches, fields, dunes, or a more urban look. Every location is thoughtfully selected to create that soft, natural, light-filled look my seniors love.
Yes! I’m happy to set up a monthly plan leading up to your session.
If your preferred month is already booked, I recommend checking surrounding months - most yearbook photos aren’t due until mid-November. September, October, and even early November are absolutely gorgeous for senior portraits. You’re also welcome to add your name to the waitlist, and I’ll reach out right away if an opening becomes available.
Many seniors book 6–12 months ahead, especially for August and September dates. Sunrise and off-peak times sometimes open last minute, so feel free to check in even if your ideal month looks full.
