I am so excited to share with you all the results of our entries for the Shoot and Share Contest 2022!!! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I’m Christina Runnals, a Boston senior portrait photographer specializing in photography that is light filled and natural. My blog is a place where I showcase all of my latest sessions and exciting news. 

Firstly, let me tell you a little bit about the Shoot & Share Photo Contest. This is a contest I love to enter every year because it is free and totally unbiased!  Anyone can enter, and anyone can vote.  No one knows who took the photos as they are voting.  Thousands of photographers from all over the world submit images, and this year over 117,000 photographs were entered. Over two million votes were cast!! This year, Christina Runnals Photography had one photo place in the TOP 100 of its category, and not one, not two, not three, but FOUR photos place as finalists in their categories!

Top 100 | Riley, Cohasset High School Class of 2022 | by Boston Senior Portrait Photographer Christina Runnals

Having an image place in the top 100 of the high school seniors category is seriously a HUGE honor!! It’s no surprise to me that this image was a top 100 image. This is because it is one of my favorite pictures I took all year long! You can view my favorites from Riley’s senior session here!

Lily, Marshfield High School Class of 2022

Lily’s session was seriously epic. If you keep scrolling all the way to the bottom, you will see the voters in the Shoot & Share Contest agreed!! We took Lily’s pictures in a gorgeous field and at a nearby beach. She brought along the absolute best outfits for her shoot. The addition of a cute hat for some of her pictures was PERFECTION!!!! Hannah, Scituate High School Class of 2022

Hannah’s senior shoot was one of my first senior shoots of 2021 and it really got senior season started on a high note!! Every single picture was absolutely stunning. You’ll find her again towards the bottom of this post ;-). You can view her whole session here!

Alyssa, Plymouth North High School Class of 2021

TWO pictures from Alyssa’s gorgeous styled senior session wound up as finalists in the Shoot & Share Contest!! Last winter we had a day of perfect snow that stayed on the trees all day long. I called Alyssa up and asked if she would do a styled shoot with me that evening. Because it was February, I wanted it to have a Valentines Day theme. The rest is history, the pictures are absolutely gorgeous and you can see the whole styled shoot here!

Would you like to book Christina Runnals for your senior pictures? Book your session, or find out more about a senior portrait session with Christina Runnals Photography! You can even view all of my pricing and package options here!

For your senior pictures, do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. I often times even have clients book as early as a year in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot. If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, you could email me about a sunrise session. I can often make time for an early morning session while my children are still sleeping :-). Hope to hear from you soon!
