Top Questions for a Kingston Senior Photographer

As a senior photographer, I get asked lots of questions about senior pictures. I’d love to highlight a few of those questions here for you now.

Where Should I Take My Senior Pictures?

We did Brooke’s pictures at two different flower field locations. However, many of my seniors instead opt for a beach location. Both are amazing options for your senior pictures, and as an experienced senior photographer I have tons of spots I love to go in the Kingston area! I love working with my clients to choose their location based on their personality and preferences.

When Should I Have My Senior Pictures Taken?

I have been a Kingston senior photographer for 5 years now, and I can tell you that late summer and early fall are super popular for senior pictures! This is for several reasons. Late summer and fall come along with cooler evenings. Cooler evenings come along with more options for adorable outfits. In fact, you could do some layering, or add some cute fall accessories! In addition, the summer is drawing to a close. This means you have that perfect tan of course!!

When Should I Book My Senior Pictures with a Kingston Senior Photographer?

I am personally honored to be in quite high demand for senior sessions, so if you are going to book with me I would recommend booking at least four months in advance. Some of my clients even book my senior portrait services an entire year in advance!! Find out more and book now if you are thinking of booking for this summer or fall. If you have waited until the last minute and I have no dates left, don’t let that stop you from joining my waitlist! I once in a great while have a last minute cancellation. In addition, sometimes I may see a spurt of beautiful weather coming and decide to open up a few extra dates.

What Should I Wear for My Senior Portraits?

A professional photographer should be able to guide you in your wardrobe for your shoot! I send out a style and session guide to all of my senior clients. My style guide gives you my best and top secret tips for how to nail your style at your session. And speaking of guides… I have created a FREE guide for you on what NOT to wear for your senior portraits! Download it today to make sure you don’t make any major wardrobe mistakes for your photoshoot!

Can I See Examples of Other Senior Sessions?

This is a hugely important question for your Kingston senior photographer!! And my personal answer is: YES! You can check me out on Instagram or head to my senior portfolio on my website! You can also head to the main page of my blog and click on the seniors category and view tons of entire sessions.
