We found the perfect locations for Maddie’s senior pictures:, a beautiful field with flowers and a beach with large rocks, to capture her memorable moments.

Maddie’s shoot was extra special because I had previously taken her sister Taryn’s pictures two years ago. It’s always exciting to work with families again and see how they have grown.

More About Maddie’s Rhode Island Senior Photos

For the first part of the session, Maddie wore a lovely flowery tank top paired with jeans. Our backdrop was a field. The dainty white flowers surrounding her added a touch of natural beauty to the pictures. She then changed into a light blue flutter-sleeve dress, which really highlighted her elegance and grace.

Moving on to the nearby beach location, Maddie opted for a flowy short blue dress with spaghetti straps. The dress perfectly matched the beachy vibe and showcased her vibrant personality. The ocean, along with the large rocks, provided a stunning backdrop that enhanced the overall feel of the photos.

Maddie hails from Providence, Rhode Island, and I was truly honored that she chose to travel all the way to the South Shore of Massachusetts for her senior pictures. It’s a testament to the trust she had in me to capture her special moments. She attends Coventry High School, where she is no doubt making the most of her senior year.

During the shoot, Maddie’s mom, Erin, joined us and added to the fun atmosphere. It’s always great when the family gets involved, as it brings an extra element of joy to the session.

One standout feature of Maddie is her long and beautiful light brown hair. It cascades effortlessly, creating a luxurious and ethereal look in the photographs. The sunset shoot in late August added to the enchantment of the pictures, with the orange-colored sky providing a warm and magical ambiance.

Overall, the session with Maddie was a wonderful experience. Being able to capture her senior photos in such picturesque locations allowed for stunning shots that truly showcased her unique personality. It was a pleasure to work with Maddie and her family, and I am honored to have been a part of this milestone in her life.

Scheduling Your Senior Portraits in Your Junior Year

If you will need your senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken the summer before your senior year or the autumn of your senior year. Do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled by April or May of your junior year. However, I very often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire YEAR in advance. This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.

The Best Time of Year to Schedule Your Senior Photos with a Rhode Island Senior Photographer

Many of my clients ask “Which month IS a prime spot for senior photos?” Overall, my high school senior ladies prefer late July, August, or early September for their pictures. On the other hand, I personally prefer late September or October! It’s consistently less humid, less sticky, less buggy, and more golden :-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, there is also an option to book a sunrise session or mid-day session. In addition, you should also absolutely add your name to my waitlist.
