I recently had the pleasure of capturing Jackson’s Tabor Academy senior pictures at the beach on a beautiful, sunny July day. The weather was hot, but it created the perfect lighting for our shoot. Towards the end of the session, we decided to head to the river to capture the stunning sunset.
Jackson looked absolutely charming in his light blue button-down shirt and khaki shorts. His outfit choice really complemented the natural surroundings and added a touch of elegance to the photos.
During the shoot, Jackson’s mom accompanied us and brought a lot of joy to the session. Her presence made the atmosphere lively and enjoyable, which reflected in the pictures.
Apart from his fabulously photogenic smile, Jackson is also excelling in lacrosse at Tabor Academy. His talent in the sport has earned him a spot at Gettysburg College, where he will play starting in the fall of 2024. This accomplishment speaks volumes about his dedication and skill.
When I think about the concept of light and natural photography, Jackson’s Tabor Academy senior pictures immediately come to mind. The golden sunlight, combined with the beach and river settings, created a luxurious and dreamy ambiance. Natural light played a significant role in highlighting Jackson’s features, making him shine in every shot.
Capturing moments like these is what I love most about being a photographer. It’s about combining the beauty of nature and the unique personality of each individual to create timeless images. Jackson’s senior pictures are a perfect illustration of this, as they exude a sense of elegance, warmth, and authenticity.
Overall, the beach setting, the warm sunshine, Jackson’s infectious smile, and the support of his mom made this photoshoot a memorable experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to capture this special time in their life.
If you will need your senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken the summer before your senior year or the autumn of your senior year. Do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled by April or May of your junior year. However, I very often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire YEAR in advance. This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.
