I am so excited to share Lauren’s beautiful Massachusetts fall photoshoot! Firstly, if you are new to my blog, welcome! I’m Christina Runnals, a senior portrait photographer specializing in photography that is light-filled and natural. I reside in Scituate, MA with my husband and two little boys. My blog is a place where I showcase all of my latest and greatest sessions! If you’d like to learn more about my senior portrait packages and book your own senior session, then head to the homepage of my website now.

About the Senior: Lauren

Lauren is a student at Notre Dame Academy, and let me tell you, she rocked this shoot like a pro! We had so much fun exploring this location and capturing Lauren’s unique style. She wore three different outfits and looked stunning in all of them. First, she wore a teal sweater with jeans, giving off a cozy autumn vibe. Then, she changed into a white v-neck dress with puffy sleeves, which brought out her natural beauty. And finally, she stunned us all in a cranberry-colored flowy dress with long sleeves that matched the fall scenery perfectly.

The Best Massachusetts Fall Photoshoot Scenery!

Speaking of scenery, you won’t believe the backdrop we found for our photos. We stumbled upon this gorgeous field filled with tall, golden grasses, surrounded by majestic pine trees that added a touch of enchantment to the whole setting. And guess what else? Autumn berry bushes were scattered throughout, adding pops of color to the already stunning landscape. It was like something out of a fairytale!

Lauren’s session took place in late November, which is what I consider to be the very end of fall in New England. Once we get into December, I am officially in winter mode! As you can see, most of the leaves are off of the trees in the backgrounds of the pictures.

Now, let’s talk about Lauren’s hair and makeup. She looked flawless! She had her hair and makeup done by the talented folks at The Fisher Experience in Braintree. They really emphasized her natural features and enhanced her gorgeous blonde locks, creating a truly magical look for the photoshoot.

As a photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a better day or a more amazing subject. Lauren’s cheerful personality and confidence in front of the camera made my job so much easier. I’m grateful for the opportunity to capture her beauty and document this special moment in her life as a high school senior.

Well, that’s it for now. I hope you enjoyed hearing about this incredible Massachusetts fall photoshoot with Lauren! Keep an eye out for more updates and behind-the-scenes peeks into my photography adventures. Until next time, my friend!

Scheduling A Massachusetts Fall Photoshoot

If you will need your senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken in the autumn of your senior year. This means that you will need to schedule your pictures a good amount of time before then. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled and your invoice paid by May or June of your junior year. However, I very often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire year in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.

What is the best time of year to take senior pictures?

A question I get all the time is: “What is the best time of year to take senior pictures?” Most girls prefer August or September. On the other hand, I personally prefer September or October! It’s consistently less humid, less sticky, and more golden :-). As I’ve said, if you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the sunset date you want, there is an option to book a sunrise session or mid-day session. You should also absolutely add your name to my waitlist.
