Louisa’s senior portrait session was a memorable one, set against the stunning backdrop of the beach at sunset. As a senior at Scituate High School, Louisa chose the perfect time of year for her session – August, when the warm summer nights always create a magical atmosphere.

Session Details | Outfits and the Beautiful Sunset

For her session, Louisa opted for three classic outfits that perfectly captured her style. The first outfit consisted of jeans paired with a white sheer blouse, creating a timeless and elegant look. The second outfit also featured jeans, this time matched with a white tank top, giving off a more casual and laid-back vibe. Finally, Louisa wore white denim straight-leg pants with a bright pink silky tank top, embracing the summer trend of bold pops of color. It’s no wonder that bright pink has been the go-to choice for my senior girl clients this season!

The most remarkable aspect of Louisa’s session was undoubtedly the breathtaking sunset. With a sky filled with clouds, the sun’s rays beautifully illuminated the scene, creating a mesmerizing blend of colors. It was a photographer’s dream come true to capture such natural and ethereal light. Louisa’s portraits truly radiate with the magic of that evening.

To make the session even more enjoyable, Louisa’s mom, Beth, accompanied her. It was heartwarming to see the bond between mother and daughter as they shared laughter and created memories together. It’s always a pleasure to have loved ones be a part of these special moments.

Prior to the session, Louisa had her hair and makeup done at Pretty Bar by Danielle Keefe Artistry in North Scituate. The result was simply stunning – her golden hair looked thick and lustrous, perfectly complementing her beautiful features. Louisa’s vibrant personality shines through in her photographs, showing just how fun and amazing she truly is.

In conclusion, Louisa’s senior portrait session at the beach at sunset was a true delight. The combination of natural light, warm summer vibes, and Louisa’s radiant beauty resulted in photographs that exude joy and charm. It was a privilege to capture the essence of this remarkable young woman and create everlasting memories for her and her family.

When To Book Your Pictures with a Senior Photographer in Scituate MA

If you will need your senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken the summer before your senior year or the autumn of your senior year. Do keep in mind that you should contact me as soon as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled by April or May of your junior year. However, I very often have clients pre-book their sessions as early as an entire year in advance. This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.

The Best Time of Year to Schedule Senior Pictures

Many of my clients ask “Which month is a prime spot for senior photos?” Overall, my high school senior ladies prefer late July, August, or early September for their pictures. On the other hand, I personally prefer late September or October! It’s consistently less humid, less sticky, less buggy, and more golden :-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, there is also an option to book a sunrise session or mid-day session. In addition, you should also absolutely add your name to my waitlist.
