I am so excited to share Hannah’s Scituate MA senior pictures with you all! This sweet girl is a delight, and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting her and her fabulous mom, Sandi. What’s better than spending a day at the beach capturing memories? Spoiler alert: nothing! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I’m Christina Runnals, a Plympton MA photographer specializing in photography that is light-filled and natural. I reside in Scituate, MA with my husband and two little boys. My blog is a place where I showcase all of my latest and greatest sessions! If you’d like to learn more about my senior packages and book your own senior session, head to the homepage of my website now.
Hannah described her style as boho and relaxed, and let me tell you, she nailed it with her AMAZING outfit choices! With her long, flowing blonde hair and bright blue eyes, she was like a ray of sunshine against the beautiful backdrop of Scituate, MA. For those who aren’t familiar, Scituate is a charming coastal town known for its stunning beaches, historic lighthouse, and picturesque harbor—a perfect setting for senior pictures!
Since we live in a coastal community, it was only natural for Hannah to choose the beach as the shooting location for her Scituate MA senior pictures. We started off at a spot adorned with sea grasses, dunes, and those cute little beach fences that make you feel like you’ve stumbled upon a secret paradise. Hannah kicked off her session in a chic, beige loose-fitting t-shirt and classic white jeans, seamlessly blending with the soft colors of nature around her.
One of the standout moments was when Hannah brought along a bouquet of flowers. We used them to frame her face as she lay in the warm sand, and I captured some truly unique angles from above. It was a gorgeous scene, and I couldn’t stop clicking away! Continuing in the same outfit, we strolled down to the sandy shoreline where Hannah showcased her playful spirit by walking along the water’s edge.
Next up was a wardrobe change into the stunning Adella Dress from Free People. This gorgeous rose pink sundress has a lacy top and flows beautifully—it’s no wonder so many of my seniors adore it! Against the ever-changing sky and shifting clouds, Hannah truly looked like a dream. We were a bit on edge about the weather, contemplating whether the clouds might spoil our fun with some rain, but instead, the universe decided to bless us with a rainbow! How magical is that?
Throughout the entire session, Hannah radiated confidence and fun. She was not shy about dancing, laughing, and just enjoying the moment. Capturing her spirit was a joy, and I’m thrilled with the stunning images we created together.
So, grab your surfboards and beach towels, because Hannah’s senior pictures are an ode to youth, beauty, and the joy of summer days spent in Scituate. Cheers to Hannah and her bright future ahead!
If you will need your senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken the summer before your senior year or the autumn of your senior year. Do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled by April or May of your junior year. However, I often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire YEAR in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.
Many of my clients ask “Which month IS a prime spot for Scituate MA senior pictures?” Overall, my Scituate High School senior ladies prefer late July, August, or early September for their pictures. On the other hand, I personally prefer late September or October! It’s consistently less humid, less sticky, less buggy, less chance for sudden thunderstorms, and more golden :-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, don’t worry, there is also an option to book a sunrise session or mid-day session! In addition, you should also absolutely add your name to my waitlist.
Would you like to hire Christina Runnals as your own senior portrait photographer? Then you can book your session now, or find out more about a senior portrait session with Christina Runnals Photography! You can even view all of my pricing and package options here! Hope to hear from you soon!
