Meet Grace, the fabulous senior at Thayer Academy whose brightness shines as brightly as her smile! Not only does she excel on the field hockey field, but she also knows how to light up a camera lens. Grace’s Holbrook Massachusetts senior pictures were seriously a blast. During her senior portrait session, she decided to bring along her best friend, Haley, because what’s better than one stunning senior portrait? Two!

All About Grace’s Senior Portraits

Accompanied by their enthusiastic moms, Christina and Danielle, who held down the fort in the parking lot (proudly giving the girls their much-deserved space), we kicked off the session in a picturesque sandy area adorned with lush green and gold sea grasses and leafy trees. Grace started off in light-colored jeans paired with a cute white tank top, complete with a delightful bow detail at the neckline. Honestly, this girl was a natural! I barely had to call for poses; she was radiating confidence right from the get-go. My job? Easy-peasy!

As if she wasn’t already dazzling, Grace slipped into a flowing white dress that had a cheeky slit up the side—because who doesn’t love a bit of drama? The dress danced effortlessly in the breeze, creating some unforgettable shots that might just make it into her hall of fame. I must say, those are some of my absolute favorites of all of Haley’s Holbrook Massachusetts senior pictures!

But wait, there’s more—Grace was in a quick-change mood! Next up was a cheerful turquoise top that added a striking pop of color to her already vibrant look. Talk about keeping things fresh and fun! 

For the finale, we ventured to the stunning shoreline for a few last-minute snaps. Guess what? Grace made the executive decision to wear that fabulous long white dress once more, and honestly, it was the best call of the day. The shoreline welcomed us with its breezy charm, and although the wind had a knack for playfully rearranging her hair, it also turned her skirt into an elegant dance partner. There’s something magical about that mix of laughter and unexpected gusts—perfect for capturing those candid shots!

As we wrapped up the session, it was clear that Grace’s personality and style shone through every image. And who wouldn’t want to remember this transformative time with such stunning portraits?

Scheduling Your Senior Pictures

If you will need your senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken the summer before your senior year or the autumn of your senior year. Do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled by April or May of your junior year. However, I often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire YEAR in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.

The Best Time of Year to Schedule Your Holbrook Massachusetts Senior Pictures

Many of my clients ask “Which month IS a prime spot for senior pictures?” Overall, my high school senior ladies prefer late July, August, or early September for their pictures. On the other hand, I personally prefer late September or October! It’s consistently less humid, less sticky, less buggy, less chance for sudden thunderstorms, and more golden :-). If you’re booking your pictures at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, don’t worry, there is also an option to book a sunrise session or mid-day session! In addition, you should also absolutely add your name to my waitlist.
