I’m so excited to share all about Mallory’s amazing Wellesley MA senior portraits! Mallory, a bright and lovely senior at Dana Hall School, and I spent a beautiful morning capturing her special moments on the South Shore of MA, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Mallory’s session was not only absolutely gorgeous, but it was also just plain fun! Although taking senior pictures can seem intimidating, Mallory’s effortless beauty made the experience easy for both her and me. On a breezy and beautiful October morning, Mallory drove from Wellesley to the South Shore for her session. 

We began at the beach, where she wore jeans and a white lacy tank top that looked stunning against the backdrop of the waves, beach fences, and grasses. And let’s not forget to mention Mallory’s incredibly beautiful long auburn hair—WOW do I have some hair envy!!!

Wellesley MA Senior Portraits | Location Change!

After the beach portion of Mallory’s Wellesley MA senior portraits, we headed to a nearby wildflower field. The field was absolutely teeming with yellow, white, and purple flowers, it couldn’t have been more stunning. Mallory wore a short white dress to start. She finished off her photos with a bang in a STUNNING gown from For Love & Lemons.

Seriously, Mallory knocked her senior portaits out of the park and I had the absolute best morning with her! I hope you loved looking through the images from her session as much as I did!

Scheduling Your Senior Pictures

If you will need your senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken the summer before your senior year or the autumn of your senior year. Do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled by April or May of your junior year. However, I often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire YEAR in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.

The Best Time of Year to Schedule Your Wellesley MA Senior Portraits

Many of my clients ask “Which month IS a prime spot for senior pictures?” Overall, my high school senior ladies prefer late July, August, or early September for their pictures. On the other hand, I personally prefer late September or October! It’s consistently less humid, less sticky, less buggy, less chance for sudden thunderstorms, and more golden :-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, don’t worry, there is also an option to book a sunrise session or mid-day session! In addition, you should also absolutely add your name to my waitlist.
