During my session with baby Sadie, I was struck by the beautiful natural light streaming through the windows of her nursery. Sadie’s Newborn Session Details

Mom Colleen and dad Brendan were dressed in coordinating neutral tones that complemented the color palette of the nursery perfectly. The cream and champagne colors of their outfits paired beautifully with Sadie’s quartz pink onesie and swaddle.

The nursery itself was a photographer’s dream, with its antique bronze crib and delicate floral wallpaper. Therefore, I couldn’t resist using the room as the backdrop for the entire session! This allowed the beauty of the space to shine through in each photograph.

Sadie was an absolute dream to work with, sleeping soundly for the entire two-hour session. When she started to stir halfway through, we quickly swaddled her up to keep her cozy and content. Her peaceful demeanor made capturing stunning, natural shots a breeze.

One of the most memorable moments from the shoot was when we placed Sadie next to a striking watercolor embryo portrait that Colleen had received as a gift. The juxtaposition of the delicate newborn beside the intricate artwork created a powerful and emotional image.

Overall, the session with baby Sadie was a joy from start to finish. The combination of beautiful natural light, a loving family, and a peaceful baby made for an unforgettable photography experience. I am grateful to have been able to capture these precious moments for the family to cherish for years to come.
