Posted in: Seniors

I am so excited to share Linnea’s stunning Massachusetts fall senior pictures! Firstly, if you are new to my blog, welcome! I’m Christina Runnals, a senior portrait photographer specializing in photography that is light-filled and natural. I reside in Scituate, MA with my husband and two little boys. My blog is a place where I showcase all of my latest and greatest sessions! If you’d like to learn more about my senior portrait packages and book your own senior session, then head to the homepage of my website now.

Linnea’s session was the type of session that I call my “Sunshine Session.” To be sure, sunrise and sunset are the most popular times of day for my senior portrait sessions. However, I also offer a 9:30 AM weekday “Sunshine Package” that is without a doubt JUST as gorgeous of an option! Sunshine sessions (just like sunset and sunrise sessions) occur on weekdays only, even in September and October on school days. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy seeing a few of my favorites from Linnea’s session. Despite what some photographers may tell you, you do not need sunrise or sunset for beautiful photos, I promise! Linnea’s photos are proof of that. In any case, I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from her senior portrait session.

Schedule Your Massachusetts Fall Senior Pictures in Your Junior Year

If you’re a senior looking to have your picture printed in your yearbook, the best time to schedule your session is during the summer before your senior year or in the early autumn of your senior year. It’s essential to contact me as soon as possible to secure a spot. I recommend booking at least four months in advance, as many clients often reserve their sessions up to a year ahead of time to get their desired slot.

The Best Time of Year to Take Your Senior Pictures

Often, my clients ask me, “Which month is the best for senior photos?” Overall, my high school seniors prefer late July, August, or early September. However, personally, I recommend late September or even October. During this time, the weather is consistently less humid, less sticky, and less buggy. The golden hues add a magical touch to the portraits.

If you find yourself booking at the last minute and can’t get your desired date, don’t worry! There are options for sunrise sessions or mid-day sessions, which will still result in gorgeous photos. Additionally, I have a waitlist that you can join to stay updated on any available spots.
