Photo of fall family portrait session by Wayland Massachusetts family photographer Christina Runnals

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Jacobellis family for an extended family portrait session at Greenways Conservation Land in Wayland, Massachusetts. If you are new to my blog, welcome! I’m Christina Runnals, a Wayland Massachusetts family photographer specializing in creating images that are light-filled and full of joy. My blog is a place where I showcase all of my latest sessions. If you’d like to learn more about my family portrait packages and book your own family session, simply head to my website.

I first met the Jacobellis family two years ago during a beach mini-session and then again for a full family portrait session in the fall. This year, I had the opportunity to capture some beautiful moments with the whole family, including one set of the children’s grandparents.

Session Details | Fall Family Photo Outfits

Kelsey, the gorgeous mother of the family, looked stunning in a cozy cream-colored cashmere sweater paired with a long flowy floral dress in autumn colors. Ben, her husband, wore a rust orange sweater with jeans, while their daughter Chloe, who is 5 years old, wore a rust red corduroy dress. Miles, their 3-year-old son, looked adorable in light-colored khakis and a chunky knit beige sweater. All of the colors tied together beautifully.

Wayland Massachusetts Family Photographer Favorite Location

The backdrop for the photo shoot was the breathtaking Greenways Conservation Land in Wayland, Massachusetts. The field was filled with golden grasses and red berries, while the trees were bursting with autumn foliage. It was the perfect setting for a picturesque family portrait.

How to Have Gorgeous Family Photos

What made this photoshoot so enjoyable was the relaxed and playful vibe that Kelsey always brings to their family sessions. She understands the importance of simply having fun with your children and encouraging your spouse to do the same. As a result, the entire family was at ease, and the photos turned out beautifully.

The Jacobellis family is always a joy to photograph, and this year’s extended family portrait session was no exception. Kelsey, Ben, Chloe, and Miles are a beautiful family, and I am honored to have captured these special memories for them.

Booking A Wayland Massachusetts Family Photographer

Would you like to book Christina Runnals for your own family portraits? Book your session, or find out more about a family session with Christina Runnals Photography!

For your pictures, do keep in mind that you should request your session as soon as possible. I recommend booking at least 6 months in advance for June, July, August, and September dates, and 4-5 months in advance for October dates. I often have clients book as early as a year in advance to make sure they secure a prime spot! Because we live in New England, there are only so many months to take your pictures, right!? (That is… unless you want to be wearing snowsuits in your pictures ;-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, you can first check to see if I have any Piggyback Sessions available. Another option is that you could request a sunrise session. I can sometimes make time for an early morning session while my children are still sleeping.

Hope to hear from you soon!
