I recently had the pleasure of capturing breathtaking overcast light and airy pictures of a mother-daughter session at the beach. Sabrina, along with her lovely daughters Tali, Tori, and Gigi, graced the sandy shores for a fun-filled afternoon. Despite the cloudy weather, the resulting pictures exude a sense of lightness and brightness.

One of the reasons why these photos have such an airy feel is the choice of attire. Sabrina and her girls opted for light-colored dresses that perfectly complemented the beach surroundings. This decision contributed to the overall ethereal and natural vibe of the images.

During the session, the girls had an absolute blast. They giggled and laughed as they ran around, played games, and even laid on a cozy blanket together. Their joyful energy was beautifully captured in the photographs, showcasing the genuine bond between this beautiful mother and her daughters.

Booking Your Own Session

For your pictures, do keep in mind that you should request your session as soon as possible. I recommend booking at least 6 months in advance for June, July, August and September dates, and 4-5 months in advance for October dates. I often times even have clients book as early as a year in advance to make sure they secure a prime spot! Because we live in New England, there are only so many months to take your pictures, right!? (That is… unless you want to be wearing snowsuits in your pictures ;-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, you can first check to see if I have any Piggyback Sessions available. Another option is that you could request a sunrise session. I can sometimes make time for an early morning session while my children are still sleeping.
