Makena’s Senior Portrait Session Details

Makena has a stunning natural beauty, with her long hair and tall frame making her extremely photogenic. My job was easy!

We started our session at a field with charming small barns in the background. Makena looked perfect in a white cotton mini dress among the tall grasses and wooden fences. Her father and dog joined us, adding to the fun and relaxed atmosphere of the shoot.

Onto the Next Senior Photoshoot Location: The Beach

After capturing some beautiful shots at the field, we made our way to the beach for a few final photos. Makena changed into jeans and a flowy white tank top, which looked effortlessly chic against the backdrop of the sandy shore and setting sun.

Working with Makena and her family was a delight, and I really enjoyed capturing her essence in the natural light of both locations. It was a truly memorable session that resulted in some stunning senior portraits.

When To Book Your Senior Pictures With a Milton MA Senior Photographer

If you’re a senior looking to have your picture printed in your yearbook, the best time to schedule your session is during the summer before your senior year or in the early autumn of your senior year. It’s essential to contact me as soon as possible to secure a spot. I recommend booking at least four months in advance, as many clients often reserve their sessions up to a year ahead of time to get their desired slot.

The Best Time of Year to Schedule Senior Pictures

Often, my clients ask me, “Which month is the best for senior photos?” Overall, my high school seniors prefer late July, August, or early September. However, personally, I recommend late September or even October. During this time, the weather is consistently less humid, sticky, and buggy. The golden hues add a magical touch to the portraits.

If you find yourself booking at the last minute and can’t get your desired date, don’t worry! There are options for sunrise sessions or mid-day sessions, which will still result in gorgeous photos. Additionally, I have a waitlist that you can join to stay updated on any available spots.
