Lifestyle Newborn Pictures

Many of my clients looking for a newborn photographer contact me because they have come across my lifestyle newborn shoots. A lifestyle newborn session in your home is the perfect way to capture the most precious memories of your new baby in a relaxed way.  This type of session is a great way to highlight a beautiful nursery or to include siblings or special pets. During these lifestyle sessions I use gentle and relaxed posing, which allows for natural connection and capturing authentic interactions with your new baby. 

Lighting for Newborn Sessions in Your Home

The best type of home for a lifestyle newborn session is one that is full of natural light coming through the windows. However, I will let you in on a secret. All of the pictures from this session were taken in a large, dark room that had a few doors with sunlight coming through them. I set up a blanket and some pillows on the floor by these doors, and we took all the photos there!
