I was sooo excited to be working with this wonderful family again this year. In fact, the last time I saw them they were just a family of three and now little Easton has made four!! If you’re new around here, well then hello! I’m Christina, a nationally published Scituate family photographer who specializes in taking pictures that are light-filled, glowy, and full of joy! I have photographed family pictures all over the South Shore of Massachusetts and New England. Frequently Asked Questions about Family Sessions

As a Scituate family photographer, I am used to getting many questions about family photo sessions! Here are some answers to your most pressing questions!

Will my session price include digital images?

Yes, all of my packages include printing rights to digital images, unless specifically specified! You’ll want to make sure that whoever you book as your photographer, that they include printing rights to all of your images. If you do not have printing rights to your images, you could even be sued by your photographer for displaying one of your photos in your social media!! Yikes! This is why I prefer to keep things simple and include printing rights in my price right off the bat!!

As a Scituate family photographer, what do you do if it rains on the date of my session?

If it rains on the date of your family session, we will reschedule of course!  I can usually reschedule within a week or two of your original session date.  I personally prefer to shoot on a sunny day for that beautiful glow, so I will even offer to reschedule if it is simply cloudy!

How much does a Scituate family photographer cost?

My packages range from $450-$625, depending on the length of session you would like and the number of images you would like in your gallery. You can view all of my packages HERE.

What time of year should I schedule my family photographs with a Scituate family photographer?

There are so many different ways to answer this!  As a Scituate family photographer, I consider myself a bit of an expert here! For me personally, this year I chose to have my own family photos done in October because I wanted to do our photos during that beautiful “golden hour” right before sunset. However, I knew that timing would ONLY work with nap times/bedtimes if we did it at a time of year when sunset was later than nap time, but earlier than bedtime!  If you have older children, you don’t have to worry about nap times/bedtimes so much, so you have much more flexibility with this which is so great.  There also is no rule saying you HAVE to do your pictures right before sunset. In fact, I do many of my sessions for young families in the morning a few hours after sunrise!  So in conclusion, I suppose my final answer is this: you can do your photos any time of year you’d like. If you want the “golden glow” and you have little ones,  I’d choose late September or early October!
