More about the Session

I was so excited for this session, for so many reasons!

1. I had taken family pictures for the Winter family last spring. I was so excited when they contacted me to let me know that their family was growing and that they wanted me to document it!
2. I knew from already working with Kelly in the past that she took outfit planning for photos seriously. Yay! What you wear for your pictures makes such an enormous difference in how the end product looks. I helped her pick out this beautiful gown from Pink Blush and we made sure to pair it with ALL light, neutral colors on the rest of the family.
3. I almost never get to do outdoor shoots in the winter!! Massachusetts is obviously quite cold November through March or even April. So it’s of course not a popular time of year for outdoor sessions. But you can’t (usually) plan when you get pregnant lol, so maternity sessions are some of the only outdoor winter sessions I get to do each year!

For your maternity pictures, do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 3 months in advance. If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, you could email me about a sunrise session. I can often make time for an early morning session while my children are still sleeping. And little ones are typically much happier at sunrise sessions than sunset sessions! Maternity sessions are also gorgeous indoors, in your home! If you go that route, we could have our session mid morning!
