SO excited to share with you some of my favorites from Katrina’s beautiful fall senior portrait session! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I am Christina, a Duxbury senior photographer specializing in taking luxury light and natural portraits. I reside in Scituate, Massachusetts and serve all of New England and beyond. If you’d like to learn more about my senior packages and book your own senior session, head to my homepage of my website now!
Katrina was the sweetest!! Her mother came along for her session and was the best moral support for Katrina! Katrina has done some modeling, and told me she is always asked to do “serious looks” for her modeling. Therefore, she REALLY wanted tons of smiling, happy, joyful senior pictures!!! This made me so happy!!
I get lots of questions about senior pictures all year long! I would love to answer some of them here for you.
Katrina had her pictures done at a beautiful field. However, many of my seniors instead opt for a beach location. Both are amazing options for your senior pictures, and as an experienced Duxbury senior photographer I have tons of spots I love to go in the area. I love working with my clients to choose their location based on their personality and preferences.
I have been a Duxbury senior photographer for 5 years now, and I can tell you that fall is super popular for senior pictures! This is for several reasons. Fall comes with cooler temperatures and less humidity, which is lovely for your photo shoot. Fall in New England also comes with glorious foliage and colors abound! Furthermore, fall means AMAZING senior picture outfits!! Chunky sweaters casually slipping off one shoulder, cute boots, you could even do a HAT such as an adorable fedora!!
I am personally honored to be in quite high demand for senior portraits, so if you are going to book with me I would recommend booking at least four months in advance. Some of my clients even book my senior portrait services an entire year in advance!! Find out more and book now if you are thinking of booking for this summer or fall. If you have waited until the last minute and I have no dates left, don’t let that stop you from joining my waitlist! I once in a great while have a last minute cancellation, or I see a spurt of beautiful weather coming and decide to open up a few extra dates.
A professional photographer should be able to guide you in your wardrobe for your shoot! I send out a style and session guide to all of my senior clients. My style guide gives you my best and top secret tips for how to nail your style at your session. And speaking of guides… I have created a FREE guide for you on what NOT to wear for your senior portraits! Download it today to make sure you don’t make any major wardrobe mistakes for your photoshoot!
Yes! You can check me out on Instagram or head to my senior portfolio on my website! I have tons upon tons of examples of other senior sessions! This is probably one of the most important questions to ask your Duxbury senior photographer. You might see one picture you love that a certain photographer took, but make sure they have LOTS more amazing pictures! That will guarantee the quality that your session will end up being. Consistency is of the upmost importance when looking through potential photographers’ portfolios.
I answer tons of my seniors’ FAQs on my website! Head there now and find out everything you could possibly need to know, and probably more!
I love hearing what my clients have to say about their photos! Katrina’s mom Gretchen said: “The photos are just amazing!! Can’t thank you enough!! We appreciate everything and are so enamored by these incredible pics!! You have a gift!!”

For your senior pictures, do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. I often times even have clients book as early as a year in advance to make sure they secure a prime spot! If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, you could email me about a sunrise session. I can often make time for an early morning session while my children are still sleeping :-). Hope to hear from you soon!
