How to Prepare for your Session

Incorporating Older Siblings into Your Session

As you can see from the images in baby Eleanor’s session, her older sister Charlotte joined in the fun! In addition, you can probably also notice that Charlotte is quite young herself! Adding a toddler into the mix can be tricky! Because of this, I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to get them involved and happy!

Creating a Perfect Light and Airy Environment

Firstly, you need to make sure you enlist your husband or partner to “clear all the clutter” in the spaces you will be taking your photos! This means hiding away all items you do not want in the background of your photos. Don’t worry, I will also help when I arrive. In addition, make sure you have all of your shades completely open in the room we will be taking photos in. In fact, make sure the shades are open in any surrounding rooms as well.

Wearing the Ideal Clothing for Light and Airy Photos

As an experienced light and airy newborn photographer, I will send you a preparation guide that I have specifically prepared for my clients. One important thing to know is that you will need to wear light colored clothing to create the light and airy look! In my preparation guide you will find all sorts of advice on how to dress yourself, your family, and your baby. I also have a selection of dresses you can borrow from me.
