Medfield MA Senior Photographer | Becca’s Dreamy Wildflower & Beach Senior Portraits

September 21, 2026

Becca!!! Can we just take a moment for this gorgeous girl?! As a South Shore photographer, I absolutely love when families travel to me for their senior portraits, and Becca and her mom made the trip from Medfield for an evening of beautiful locations, dreamy light, and ALL the flowers! If you’re looking for a medfield ma senior photographer who offers a little more than your average senior photo session, Becca’s portraits are the perfect example of what a South Shore senior portrait experience can look like!

Becca is a senior at the Landmark School, and I had the absolute pleasure of spending a gorgeous evening with her and her mom exploring a beautiful wildflower field before heading to a nearby Scituate beach for sunset.

And when I say gorgeous, I mean GORGEOUS. The locations, the light, the outfits, the flowers, the sunset. Oh, and Becca herself, obviously!

Some people are just made for the camera, and Becca is absolutely one of them. Her beautiful blue eyes, incredible long curls, and classic, timeless beauty made my job ridiculously easy. I mean, COME ON.

If you are new to my blog, welcome! I’m Christina Runnals, a Massachusetts photographer specializing in photography that is light-filled and natural. I reside in Scituate, MA with my husband and two little boys. My blog is a place where I showcase all of my latest and greatest sessions! Medfield MA Senior Photographer | A Wildflower Field Straight Out of a Dream

Becca had one very specific request for her senior pictures: she wanted a beautiful flower field.

Well, Becca, I think we understood the assignment!

We started her session at one of the most beautiful fields on the South Shore, and it could not have been more perfect. Thousands of delicate white and yellow wildflowers filled the field, surrounded by tall golden grasses and beautiful greenery. The late summer sunlight poured through the trees, giving us that dreamy, golden glow that makes wildflower senior pictures so magical.

The yellow goldenrod, wispy white flowers, and soft neutral grasses created the prettiest backdrop for Becca’s portraits. And with that gorgeous light illuminating her curls? I was in photographer heaven.

This is exactly why I love photographing senior portraits in late summer and early fall. The fields are full of texture and color, the light is absolutely incredible, and everything has that romantic, slightly whimsical feeling that makes these images so timeless.

And we hadn’t even made it to the beach yet!

Three Outfits, One Gorgeous Flower Field

One of my favorite parts of a full senior portrait session is having the time to photograph several outfits and create a gallery with completely different looks and moods.

Becca brought three beautiful outfits for the field portion of her session, and every single one was perfection.

The Sweetest Blue Floral Dress

We started with a beautiful white maxi dress covered in delicate blue flowers, and I honestly cannot imagine a more perfect outfit for wildflower senior pictures.

The soft blue floral print looked gorgeous against the warm yellow flowers and golden grasses, while the flowing skirt gave us so many opportunities for beautiful movement and natural posing.

We photographed Becca standing among the wildflowers, looking back over her shoulder, walking through the tall grass, and sitting among the delicate blooms.

And her HAIR!

Those incredible curls catching the golden sunlight deserved their own senior portrait session. The backlighting created the most beautiful halo around her hair, and I could have photographed her in that field all evening.

The combination of the blue floral dress, golden wildflowers, and Becca’s gorgeous curls was an absolute dream.

A Little Blue Top and White Pants Moment

Next, Becca changed into the prettiest light blue top with delicate textured details and white pants.

I loved this look because it gave us something a little more casual while still feeling soft, feminine, and perfectly coordinated with the scenery.

The pale blue looked beautiful against the warm tones of the field, and we had so much fun creating a mix of standing portraits, relaxed seated poses, and sweet little details.

We even tucked a small bouquet of wildflowers into her back pocket for a few photos, because when life gives you a field full of flowers, you accessorize accordingly!

This outfit was such a perfect example of how casual senior picture outfits can still feel polished and beautiful.

One More Blue Floral Dress, Because Why Not?!

For her final field outfit, Becca changed into another gorgeous blue-and-white floral dress, this time with a romantic tiered skirt and the prettiest delicate straps.

Clearly, Becca knows her colors!

This dress had such a different feel from her first floral outfit, with its larger blue botanical print and flowing layers. We took advantage of the last of the beautiful field light before making our way toward the ocean.

I especially loved photographing her along the little grassy path surrounded by trees and greenery. The combination of the romantic dress, natural scenery, and warm evening light was just SO pretty.

And then it was time for the grand finale!

Medfield MA Senior Photographer | From Wildflower Senior Pictures to a Scituate Beach Sunset

One of the things I love most about photographing seniors on the South Shore is the ability to incorporate completely different locations into a single session.

Beautiful wildflower fields AND a gorgeous New England beach at sunset? Yes, please!

After finishing our field portraits, we headed to a nearby Scituate beach for the final portion of Becca’s senior session.

And the sunset absolutely showed off for us.

The sky turned the prettiest shades of peach, pink, and soft golden orange, while the ocean reflected the last of the evening light. It was one of those beautiful, peaceful beach evenings that makes me so grateful to call the South Shore home.

Becca wore her gorgeous blue-and-white tiered floral dress for the beach, and it could not have been more perfect against the soft neutral tones of the sand and ocean.

We photographed her along the shoreline, standing in the shallow water, and enjoying the last beautiful moments of daylight.

I especially love the close-up portraits we created at the beach. Her beautiful blue eyes, those amazing curls, and the soft sunset light made for some of my favorite images of the entire evening.

And the full-length portraits with the ocean and colorful sky behind her?!

Absolutely frame-worthy.

There is just something about ending a senior session at the beach as the sun goes down. The light softens, the colors become more beautiful by the minute, and we get to create those final portraits that feel a little extra special.

Becca’s sunset senior pictures were the perfect ending to an already incredible evening.

More Than Senior Pictures: The Ultimate Senior Portrait Experience

One of the reasons I love welcoming families from Medfield and other towns outside the South Shore is that they are often looking for something beyond the traditional senior portrait experience.

Senior year is such an exciting milestone, and your senior pictures deserve to feel just as special!

As a South Shore senior photographer, I offer a personalized, luxury portrait experience that gives seniors the opportunity to explore beautiful locations, wear multiple outfits, and create a gallery of images that truly reflects who they are.

Whether that means romantic wildflower senior pictures, golden-hour portraits in a beautiful field, timeless beach portraits, or a combination of all three, I love helping each senior create a session that feels uniquely theirs.

And the experience doesn’t end when we finish taking pictures!

I also offer beautiful heirloom prints and luxury portrait products, because these photographs deserve to live somewhere other than your camera roll. From gorgeous framed portraits to beautiful albums and other keepsakes, there are so many ways to preserve these memories and enjoy them for years to come.

The goal is to create photographs that seniors absolutely LOVE today and that their families will treasure long after graduation.

Because one day, these pictures will mean even more than they do right now.
