Beach Senior Mini Sessions on the South Shore | Angelia

I am so excited to share a few favorites from Angelia’s gorgeous golden-hour senior session! Angelia is a senior at Austin Prep, and she joined me in Scituate for one of my beach senior mini sessions on the South Shore of MA.

We had the most beautiful evening for this series of mini sessions. Soft blue skies, calm water, and that dreamy golden light that makes everything at the beach feel a little bit magical. Angelia had the final session of the night, which meant we were able to soak up every last bit of that gorgeous glow!

Golden-Hour Senior Pictures in Scituate

Angelia was so sweet, excited, and completely adorable from the moment her session began. Although a senior mini session is shorter than my full senior portrait experience, we still captured such a beautiful variety of images—from classic smiling portraits to relaxed shots in the sand, playful movement, and those glowy shoreline photographs that I absolutely love.

The light was especially stunning against Angelia’s gorgeous red hair. The warm sunshine caught every strand and gave her portraits the dreamiest golden glow. Sometimes everything simply comes together perfectly—the senior, the outfit, the setting, and the light—and this was absolutely one of those sessions!

The Perfect Dress for Beach Senior Mini Sessions on the South Shore of MA

Can we please take a moment for Angelia’s dress?! Her white maxi dress featured burgundy floral embroidery, a scalloped neckline, and the sweetest bow detail in the back. It was feminine and summery without feeling overly formal, and the embroidered flowers added just enough color and personality.

The long, flowy skirt also photographed beautifully while Angelia walked along the shoreline. Dresses with movement are always such a wonderful choice for beach senior pictures because they create soft, effortless images and give us so many natural posing possibilities.
