This Norwell MA family photography session was everything I love about fall at the beach. It had bright blue skies, soft sand, and that unmistakable coastal wind that makes every moment feel alive. This sweet family met me mid-morning for their beach portraits. It couldn’t have been a more beautiful day for photos by the dunes.

Their little girl completely stole the show with her pink bow, chambray romper, and the happiest little smiles. She loved playing in the sand, snuggling with Mom and Dad, and giggling at her fluffy, energetic pup who kept us all laughing!

A Bright and Breezy Day at the Beach

The morning couldn’t have been prettier. We had clear skies, glowing dune grass, and just enough wind to keep things interesting! I always say a breezy beach day adds personality and movement to photos, and this session was the perfect example. The light shimmered off the sand, the grass swayed behind us, and this little one’s bow danced right along with the wind.

If you’re dreaming of your own family photography session, I’d love to create something special for your family. For your pictures, do keep in mind that you should request your session as soon as possible. I recommend booking at least 10 months in advance for June, July, August, and September dates, and 4-5 months in advance for October dates. I often have clients book as early as an entire year in advance to make sure they secure a prime spot! Because we live in New England, there are only so many months to take your pictures, right!? (That is… unless you want to be wearing snowsuits in your pictures ;-).

Last-Minute Photo Session Booking

If you’re booking at the last-minute and can’t get the date you want, you can first check to see if I have any Beach Piggyback Sessions or Fall Piggyback Sessions available. Or, feel free to add your name to my waitlist!
