I am so excited to share with you today this incredible Norwell Massachusetts senior photography session featuring Teddy! If you’re new to my blog, welcome! I’m Christina Runnals, your go-to photographer specializing in light-filled and natural photography. I call Scituate, MA home, where I live with my husband and two energetic little boys. This blog is my canvas for showcasing all my latest and greatest sessions! If you’re itching to learn more about my senior packages (and let’s be honest, who isn’t?), head over to the homepage of my website!
Now, let’s talk about Teddy. He’s not just any senior; he’s a true star athlete at Thayer Academy. This fall, he’s set to glide onto the field, lacrosse stick in hand, as he heads off to Notre Dame. I mean, wow! Color me impressed—this information knocked me over like a rogue lacrosse ball! Seriously, not only is Teddy a fantastic athlete, but he’s also got a great personality to match.
Teddy’s dynamic mom, Katie, joined us for the session and truly made it extra fun. Not only is she a fantastic cheerleader, but she also has an infectious energy that made the entire atmosphere light and enjoyable. We chose a stunning South Shore beach for Teddy’s photos, which just so happens to be the same spot where I shot Teddy’s sister Caroline’s senior portraits a few years back. It was like a family reunion, just sandier! Lucky for us, we were blessed with a warm, sunny late September afternoon. You could practically hear the sunshine smiling!
This session was such a blast! I loved spending the September evening with Teddy and Katie for Teddy’s Norwell Massachusetts senior photography session. They made my job feel less like a job and more like a hangout with friends! Congratulations on your senior year, Teddy, and best of luck at Notre Dame next year! Not that you’ll need luck—you’ve got talent and determination in spades!
Now, here’s a quick note for all the seniors out there: if you need your senior pictures for your yearbook, make sure to schedule your session during the summer before your senior year or in the autumn of your senior year. Trust me, you want to contact me as soon as possible to reserve your spot. I recommend booking at least four months in advance, so ideally, your session would be locked in by April or May of your junior year. Some of my clients are so eager for that perfect sunset shot that they book a full year in advance! So, if you want to snag that prime spot, don’t procrastinate.
You might be wondering, “Which month is the best for senior pictures?” Well, ladies often lean towards late July, August, or early September for their shoots. But hey, I have a soft spot for late September or October myself! The weather is generally less humid (no one wants to look like they just jumped into a pool), there’s a lower chance of sudden thunderstorms, and the golden light is just unbeatable. If you find yourself in a last-minute pinch and can’t snag the date you want, don’t sweat it—there’s always a chance to book a secondary option.
Feeling inspired? Would you like to have your very own senior portrait session with Christina Runnals? If so, don’t hesitate to book your session now! You can also find out more about my senior portrait options and pricing on my website. I’d love to hear from you soon!
