Finn is indeed a senior at Scituate High School, and let me tell you, his energy was contagious! He brought along his mom, Kristin, who was not just his biggest cheerleader but also added an extra dose of fun to our session. Shooting at the Scituate Lighthouse—just a stone’s throw from my own home—made this experience even more special. As we chased the sun, we were treated to a magnificent orange sunset that turned Finn’s portraits into vibrant works of art. I can honestly say, this August evening was one for the books. Planning ahead is key when scheduling your senior pictures. If you want your photos to grace your yearbook, aim to have them taken in the summer before your senior year or during the autumn of your senior year. Trust me, contacting me well in advance is a smart move. I recommend at least four months out—so ideally, by the spring of your junior year! Some of my clients even book their sessions a whole year in advance. You wouldn’t believe how popular the lighthouse can get!

Many high school senior ladies gravitate toward late summer months like July and August, while I personally lean toward late September and October. Why, you ask? If you find yourself scrambling at the last minute and can’t secure your desired date, don’t fret; there’s always a plan B!
