All About the Star of the Show: Tessa!

Meet Tessa, a senior at The Wheeler School in Providence, RI. Now, she’s not just your average student. When she’s not excelling in her academics, she’s commanding attention as an incredible coxswain for her rowing team—both in her school and for some professional squads too. And if that wasn’t enough, she’s already committed to the University of Washington to continue coxing and her studies. Talk about setting the bar high! With her stunning beauty and bright spirit, my job as her photographer felt a bit like being handed a paintbrush and told to create a masterpiece. And even though Tessa hails from Rhode Island, she made the trek to the South Shore of Massachusetts to meet me in my studio, adding a bit of road trip flair to our day!

Let’s talk fashion for studio senior pictures in Massachusetts! Tessa kicked off the session in light-colored jeans and a white ribbed top, radiating a gorgeous and carefree vibe. Next up, she pulled on a textured green long-sleeve top that created an eye-catching contrast against my studio’s light peach-brown canvas backdrop, which was specially hand-painted in California for my studio—yes, it’s a hit among clients! And for her grand finale, Tessa donned a cream-colored, off-the-shoulder long-sleeve top that definitely stole the show. I’m still debating which outfit I loved the most—she rocked every look with style!

Timing is Everything: When to Book Your Studio Senior Pictures in Massachusetts

A quick note for all soon-to-be seniors out there: If you’re planning to get your senior pictures for the yearbook, you’ll want to schedule your session ideally the summer before, or in the autumn of, your senior year. And here’s a little pro tip: contact me as soon as possible. I suggest booking at least four months in advance, which means you should aim to have your session on the calendar by April or May of your junior year. Believe it or not, I have many clients pre-book an entire YEAR in advance. Yes, my friends, that’s the level of commitment we’re talking about!
