Ah, senior photos! That magical time when high schoolers get to strut their stuff and capture their essence before diving into the great unknown — also known as adulthood. And if there’s one senior I am delighted to showcase, it’s Fiona from Scituate High School in Massachusetts. Let me tell you, this girl is the complete package: an incredible dancer, a dedicated student, and all-around amazing human. Plus, she’s my long-time babysitter for my wild little boys, so I have firsthand experience of her superpowers ;-). I’m so excited to share her Scituate MA senior photos with you all!

The Ultimate Multi-Tasker

Now, if you think Fiona has a lot on her plate, you’re absolutely right. Not only does she dance her heart out on the high school dance team, but she also teaches at her dance studio. Somewhere in between wowing audiences and imparting her dance wisdom, she still finds time to rock the role of the best babysitter ever. I mean, how does she do it all? I can’t figure it out!

A Picture-Perfect Evening for Scituate MA Senior Photos

Our photo session took place on one of those picture-perfect September evenings that make you question how winter could ever be a thing. We hit the beach at sunset, where Fiona arrived in the most adorable white cotton sundress adorned with puffy sleeves and floral embroidery — talk about a princess of the dunes! With a backdrop of golden sands, sea grasses, and leafy trees, she was ready to shine, and shine she did! Her vibrant personality lit up the lens; honestly, I barely had to lift a finger (thank you, Fiona!).

Golden Hour Glam

Just when I thought she couldn’t possibly get any more adorable, Fiona switched up her look for the second half of the session with another cute white sundress. We strolled down to the shoreline, capturing frames of her dancing through the surf with the sun dipping low in the background — a true golden hour moment. If only I could bottle up that dreamy light and sell it!

Cheers to an Amazing Future!

In the end, it was a stunning session filled with laughter, artistry, and a touch of ocean breeze. Here’s to you, Fiona! Congratulations on your graduation! I have no doubt that you will go on to do extraordinary things. With drive and talent like yours, the world better watch out!

Scheduling Your Senior Pictures

If you will need your senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken the summer before your senior year or the autumn of your senior year. Do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled by April or May of your junior year. However, I often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire YEAR in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.

The Best Time of Year to Schedule Senior Photos

Many of my clients ask “Which month IS a prime spot for senior pictures?” Overall, my high school senior ladies prefer late July, August, or early September for their pictures. On the other hand, I personally prefer late September or October! It’s consistently less humid, less sticky, less buggy, less chance for sudden thunderstorms, and more golden :-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, don’t worry, there is also an option to book a sunrise session or mid-day session! In addition, you should also absolutely add your name to my waitlist.
