Cohasset Sailing Club Senior Pictures | Max Crews, Class of 2025

Posted in: Seniors

As the sun dipped low in the sky on that beautiful late August evening, I met up with Max, a senior at Cohasset High School who juggles tennis and soccer like a pro. The ambiance was set, and I was ready to capture some unforgettable Cohasset Sailing Club senior pictures. Accompanied by his ever-supportive mom, Allyson, we embarked on Max’s senior photo adventure. Let’s face it, pictures aren’t exactly the first item on most guys’ “fun things to do” list — but Max proved to be an amazing sport.

Fashion Forward (and Tan Line Avoidance)

Now, let’s take a moment to appreciate Max’s outfit. A crisp white linen long-sleeve button-down shirt paired with light khaki pants and white sneakers. Smooth, right? I always recommend long sleeves for guys, especially in the summer. Not only does it elevate the style game, but it also cleverly disguises any sneaky tee shirt tan lines that scream “beach bum.” And let’s not forget about the khaki pants; they were a smart choice to dodge the classic “farmer’s tan” look. As for shoes, Max nailed it! Nice-looking sneakers do the trick—unless you’re strolling on the sand, then sandals definitely get a pass.

The Great Location Exploration

We kicked off our session at the front steps of the sailing club, and let me tell you, those shots were nothing short of fantastic. The weather was just right, and Max’s infectious smile quickly lit up the camera. Next on our tour of charm was a picturesque bridge that seemed to whisper, “Take my picture!” After that, we found our way to a lovely white barndoor, which made for the perfect backdrop. We stumbled across an old rowboat – who knew an old rowboat could be such a gem?! Bursting with character, we incorporated it into some shots.

Sunset Wishes and Sailboat Dreams

As the sun began to blaze into a sunset worthy of postcards, we made our way to the dock. The distant sailboats and the yacht club lent themselves to a backdrop that screamed “essence of Cohasset.” Capturing Max with the warm glow of the setting sun was the cherry on top of this already perfect day. It felt like something out of a coming-of-age movie, and honestly, Max made my job an absolute breeze. Bravo, my friend!

Here’s to the Future, Max!

Max’s senior pictures were more than just a collection of images—they were a celebration of a milestone. His laughter and spirit made the evening unforgettable. So here’s to Max, who’s about to soar into the next chapter of life. Congratulations on your graduation, Max! May your future be as bright as your smile, and remember: this isn’t the end but the beginning of an incredible journey. Cheers!

Scheduling Your Senior Pictures

If you will need your senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken the summer before your senior year or the autumn of your senior year. Do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled by April or May of your junior year. However, I often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire YEAR in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.

The Best Time of Year to Schedule Cohasset Sailing Club Senior Pictures

Many of my clients ask “Which month IS a prime spot for senior pictures?” Overall, my high school senior ladies prefer late July, August, or early September for their pictures. On the other hand, I personally prefer late September or October! It’s consistently less humid, less sticky, less buggy, less chance for sudden thunderstorms, and more golden :-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, don’t worry, there is also an option to book a sunrise session or mid-day session! In addition, you should also absolutely add your name to my waitlist.
