Double the Fun: Brooke and Brenna’s Twin Senior Photos

I’m so excited to share Brooke and Brenna’s twin senior pictures with you all! If you’re new to my blog, welcome aboard! I’m Christina Runnals, your friendly Massachusetts senior photographer, specializing in capturing luminous and natural New England senior photos. As a Scituate local, I have the pleasure of working with seniors from all over New England every year. This blog is my personal playground, where I love to showcase my latest sessions. Speaking of sessions, allow me to introduce you to the fabulous duo, Brooke and Brenna!

Inspiration in the Air

I first connected with this lively duo and their dynamic mom Deb during our virtual consultation, and wow, did these girls impress! As seniors at Silver Lake High School in Kingston, they not only excel in athletics but also radiate warmth and charm. They came prepared for their twin senior pictures, each with their own dazzling Pinterest inspiration boards. I always encourage my seniors to curate an inspiration board. This is because it helps me see their vision and tailor the shoot to match their unique styles. Patterns of favorite poses, colors, and outfits emerge, and it’s always a joy to see their creativity take flight!

Beachy Vibes and Outfit Changes

On a picture-perfect evening, we met at the beach two hours before sunset, armed with a car full of fabulous outfits. The twin senior pictures session kicked off with Brooke strutting her stuff in a classic white sundress while Brenna rocked a white dress accented with pretty blue florals. Surrounded by lush green seagrasses and high dunes, we soaked in the goodness of a bright blue sky. Can you say stunning backdrop? After those radiant shots, it was time to transition to their “long dress look.” Brenna’s flowy cotton sundress and Brooke’s floral-adorned choice had us all swooning!

Fashionista Moments

We couldn’t stop there—next up was a casual look with white jeans and cute cotton tanks, accessorized by their stylish Golden Goose sneakers. Oh, the fashion prowess! Naturally, we had to capture a solo shot of just the sneakers; they deserved their moment on the runway! As the sun began to dip, it was time for one final outfit change—a return to the dresses for that golden hour glow. Classic yet chic, they splashed in the waves, strolled along the shore, and struck poses that showcased both individuality and sisterly love.

Celebrating Individuality During Twin Senior Pictures

You may have noticed that many of the shots focused on their individuality—typical for twin senior pictures! By senior year, those matchy-matchy outfits are a thing of the past (thank goodness, right?). Deb wanted to highlight what makes each girl special, while still saving a few frames for that classic twin double trouble shot. It was a fantastic balance, and I couldn’t be more delighted with how the images turned out!

I hope you enjoyed browsing Brooke and Brenna’s senior pictures as much as I loved capturing them! Thanks for reading, and see you next time for more fabulous sessions!

Scheduling Your Senior Pictures

If you will need your twin senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken the summer before your senior year or the autumn of your senior year. Do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled by April or May of your junior year. However, I often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire YEAR in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.

The Best Time of Year to Schedule Twin Senior Pictures

Many of my clients ask “Which month IS a prime spot for senior pictures?” Overall, my high school senior ladies prefer late July, August, or early September for their pictures. On the other hand, I personally prefer late September or October! It’s consistently less humid, less sticky, less buggy, less chance for sudden thunderstorms, and more golden :-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, don’t worry, there is also an option to book a sunrise session or mid-day session! In addition, you should also absolutely add your name to my waitlist.
