Gabriel’s Newborn Session

Recently, I had the absolute joy of photographing a lifestyle newborn portrait session in a bright and charming Boston home. The newest member of the family, baby Gabriel, was surrounded by so much love. I could feel the warmth as soon as I stepped through the door! Mom, Kate, is not only a lovely person but also a fellow photographer—an amazing one at that! Their home was adorned with stunning family photos captured over the years, making it a photographer’s paradise.

From the moment I met Kate and her family, I felt an instant connection. They are some of the sweetest people I’ve encountered. It was such a delight to spend the morning with them, capturing the tender moments as they welcomed baby Gabe into the world. 

We started our session in the master bedroom, which was beautifully styled in soft neutrals, whites, and gentle blues. These colors were perfect for the serene atmosphere that surrounded us. Clara, their adorable four-year-old daughter, was the picture of sweetness in her white lace dress. The family snuggled together with baby Gabriel, creating a heartwarming backdrop of laughter and joy as they sang songs and shared stories. I couldn’t resist capturing these candid moments that truly showcased their familial love.

One of my favorite parts of the session was when we took some shots of the entire family lounging on the bed together. The laughter shared in those moments was simply infectious! Clara was especially wonderful with her new baby brother. I took some precious photos of her gently touching and kissing Gabriel. As an exprienced South Shore MA newborn photographer, it melted my heart to see how she immediately embraced her role as a big sister.

As the session continued, I made sure to capture candid moments of both parents individually bonding with their new baby. In additiona, I took pitures of each parent with both children. Emmanuel’s gentle presence and Kate’s radiant love for their little ones were palpable in every frame.

Finally, we moved to their gorgeously decorated and sunny living room. There, I captured the essence of their beautiful family life. The sunlight streamed in, illuminating the space and showcasing the love that filled their home. It was a perfect setting for capturing more heartfelt family photographs.
