I’m so excited to share the amazing experience I had capturing Mia’s Lynn MA senior pictures! Mia is a vibrant senior at St. Mary’s High School in Lynn, and let me tell you, she’s not just an ace student but also an avid soccer player with a great smile!

We scheduled Mia’s session for an early morning on the beautiful South Shore. To beat the Boston traffic, Mia and her mom decided to stay at a nearby hotel, which was such a clever idea! It was late September, and while we kicked off the morning with some light sprinkles, the forecast promised sunshine was on the way. We decided to hang out for a bit, and sure enough, the rain held off, and the sun started making an appearance. 

Just when we thought we were in the clear, we were greeted with yet another challenge—a recent storm had dumped a massive mountain of seaweed on the beach where we planned to shoot! But you know what? We didn’t let that stop us! With a little creativity and some strategic angles, we made it work, and you’d never guess we had to dodge a seaweed mountain in the final photos!

Lynn MA Senior Pictures | Outfit Change!

After warming up with that lovely outfit, we decided to switch things up. Sadie changed into a casual yet super cute white cotton eyelet tube top and jeans. This new look perfectly highlighted her fun style while still keeping everything comfy and relaxed. She was rocking both looks like a star!

We took so many wonderful photos among the tall grasses and the breathtaking fall foliage, each click of the camera capturing the joy and warmth of the day. One of my favorite moments was when we stumbled across a charming wooden bridge over a sparkling stream. It was such a perfect spot for some extra adorable shots!

Onto a New Location!

With the beach a little too windy for comfort, we decided to switch things up and headed to a gorgeous nearby field. This location was filled with beautiful wildflowers and featured a lovely stone wall for Mia to sit on. Plus, Mia brought along a pretty bouquet, which added an extra touch of charm to the session!

All in all, despite the weather twists and turns (and the surprise seaweed!), Mia’s session was a blast. The photos captured not just her beauty but also the spirit of fun and determination. I can’t wait to see all the wonderful things Mia will accomplish as she steps into this exciting new chapter of her life!

Scheduling Your Senior Pictures

If you will need your senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken the summer before your senior year or the autumn of your senior year. Do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled by April or May of your junior year. However, I often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire YEAR in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.

The Best Time of Year to Schedule Your Lynn MA Senior Pictures

Many of my clients ask “Which month IS a prime spot for senior pictures?” Overall, my high school senior ladies prefer late July, August, or early September for their pictures. On the other hand, I personally prefer late September or October! It’s consistently less humid, less sticky, less buggy, less chance for sudden thunderstorms, and more golden :-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, don’t worry, there is also an option to book a sunrise session or mid-day session! In addition, you should also absolutely add your name to my waitlist.
