I am so excited to share Maya’s gorgeous Nashua New Hampshire senior pictures with you all! Firstly, if you are new to my blog, welcome! I’m Christina Runnals, a New England senior portrait photographer specializing in photography that is light-filled and natural. I reside in Scituate, MA with my husband and two little boys. My blog is a place where I showcase all of my latest and greatest sessions! If you’d like to learn more about my senior packages and book your own senior session, head to the homepage of my website now.
So, let me start from the beginning. Maya lives in Nashua, NH and attends Nashua High School North. She is an incredible dancer and competes at a seriously impressive level. In addition to all that, she is stunningly gorgeous! Because of this, my job as a photographer was a breeze. Woo hoo!
Anyhow, I hope you enjoy perusing a few of my favorites from Maya’s senior portrait session!
Next, Maya changed into a beautiful satin pink floral strapless mini dress. She used my fun little pop-up changing tent to change her outfit, which is always a hit with my seniors and their moms! After her satin dress outfit, we did a quick change BACK into the white tulle dress for ocean shots, because…. well how could we not?!
Maya had her makeup done at Utopia Place in Hanover. Having professional makeup done for photos is something I highly recommend. This is because professional hair and makeup artists are TRAINED to do hair and makeup so that they photograph well. While your makeup may look AMAZING in person, it will look completely different on camera. These professionals are trained to know the difference! They will conceal spots you don’t like, contour your face so it looks the best in every light, use colors that compliment your skin to make it look flawless, make your eyes POP with false lashes and shadows, manicure your eyebrows to perfection and more!
One of the top joys in my job is hearing what my clients have to say about their pictures. Maya’s mother Erika said: “I just wanted to thank you again for such an incredible senior photo experience. Maya is so happy with her pictures and we are so thankful we found you!” She also said “Christina is an amazing photographer and wonderful to work with. She went above and beyond to make sure my daughter’s senior photoshoot was nothing short of spectacular. She checked in with us various times leading up to the photoshoot and she was always helpful. I am in LOVE with the pictures and will cherish them forever.” Without a doubt, words like these are the *actual* highlight of my day!!!
I’ll wrap things up by saying I can’t even begin to describe how happy I am with the outcome of Maya’s Nashua New Hampshire senior pictures. Maya was an absolute joy to work with, and her sweet personality and stunning beauty made my job a breeze.
If you will need your senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken the summer before your senior year or the autumn of your senior year. Do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled by April or May of your junior year. However, I very often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire YEAR in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.
Many of my clients ask “Which month IS a prime spot for senior pictures?” Overall, my high school senior ladies prefer late July, August, or early September for their pictures. On the other hand, I personally prefer late September or October! It’s consistently less humid, less sticky, less buggy, less chance for sudden thunderstorms, and more golden :-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, don’t worry, there is also an option to book a sunrise session or mid-day session! In addition, you should also absolutely add your name to my waitlist.
Would you like to hire Christina Runnals as your own senior portrait photographer? Then you can book your session now, or find out more about a senior portrait session with Christina Runnals Photography! You can even view all of my pricing and package options here! Hope to hear from you soon!
