I am so excited to share Anna’s gorgeous Scituate Massachusetts senior pictures with you all! Firstly, if you are new to my blog, welcome! I’m Christina Runnals, a Massachusetts senior portrait photographer specializing in photography that is light-filled and natural. I reside in Scituate, MA with my husband and two little boys. My blog is a place where I showcase all of my latest and greatest sessions! If you’d like to learn more about my senior packages and book your own senior session, head to the homepage of my website now.
So, let me start from the beginning. Anna lives in my town of Scituate. She is an incredible figure skater who performs and competes professionally. In addition, she is stunningly gorgeous! Because of this, my job as a photographer was a breeze.
Anna’s Scituate Massachusetts senior pictures were planned for mid-July. We had a typical New England July evening: sudden impending thunderstorms were MAYBE coming for us. We could hear the thunder in the distance, we were surrounded by clouds. However, my trusty Scituate weatherman and my gut were both telling me the storm was going to pass us right by. We decided to GO FOR IT!!! The skies were still stormy when we arrived at our photoshoot spot. We started shooting, and voila! The skies cleared within 10 minutes and we got a stunning evening.
Anyhow, I hope you enjoy perusing a few of my favorites from Anna’s senior portrait session!
Next, Anna changed into an adorable crocheted tank and jeans. She used my fun little pop-up changing tent to change her outfit, which is always a hit with my seniors and their moms! After her crochet top look, we did a quick few shots in an adorable heathered purpley/pinky tee-shirt and jeans. What a fun pop of color for Anna’s senior pictures!
Next, we made our way to the water. The sun was FULL ON shining and glowing by this point. This was perfect timing to bring out Anna’s figure skates for a few shots!! On an entirely different topic, do you want to know a “fun” factoid about this session? (Okay it’s actually the opposite of fun). Anna BROKE her TOE during this senior portrait session. And I’m talking early on, like within the first 30 minutes. She powered through and thank goodness she did because who KNOWS if we would have gotten another epically gorgeous night like this one?! I give her serious props. I’ve broken a toe before, yes there’s not much a doctor can do about it, but it is NO fun!!!!
I’ll wrap things up by saying I can’t even begin to describe how happy I am with the outcome of Anna’s Scituate Massachusetts senior pictures. Anna was an absolute joy to work with, and her sweet personality and classic beauty made my job a breeze.
If you will need your Scituate Massachusetts senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken the summer before your senior year or the autumn of your senior year. Do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled by April or May of your junior year. However, I very often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire YEAR in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.
Many of my clients ask “Which month IS a prime spot for senior pictures?” Overall, my high school senior ladies prefer late July, August, or early September for their pictures. On the other hand, I personally prefer late September or October! It’s consistently less humid, less sticky, less buggy, less chance for sudden thunderstorms, and more golden :-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, don’t worry, there is also an option to book a sunrise session or mid-day session! In addition, you should also absolutely add your name to my waitlist.
Would you like to hire Christina Runnals as your own senior portrait photographer? Then you can book your session now, or find out more about a senior portrait session with Christina Runnals Photography! You can even view all of my pricing and package options here! Hope to hear from you soon!
