I am so excited to share Courtney’s gorgeous Gardner Massachusetts senior pictures! Firstly, if you are new to my blog, welcome! I’m Christina Runnals, a Massachusetts senior portrait photographer specializing in photography that is light-filled and natural. I reside in Scituate, MA with my husband and two little boys. My blog is a place where I showcase all of my latest and greatest sessions! If you’d like to learn more about my senior packages and book your own senior session, head to the homepage of my website now.
So, let me start from the beginning. Courtney and I had our very first meeting virtually to discuss all the details and plan out her shoot. Let me tell you, her excitement was infectious! I couldn’t wait to meet her in person and capture her stunning personality on camera.
On a slightly blustery July evening, Courtney, her mom, and her stepdad met me at the beach. The beach we chose is one of my all-time favorites, with a huge variety of backdrops to choose from. Courtney looked absolutely stunning in a pale blue tank and cream colored jeans for her first set of pictures. This outfit looked amazing against the backdrop of the seagrass and dunes. Courtney also included a beautiful flower bouquet which we played around with quite a bit!
Next, Courtney changed into a gorgeous white flowy skirt and coral tube top. The wind was still blowing, and as you can see it added such a gorgeous element to the photos.
Next, we made our way to the water. The wind had died down by this point to just a slight breeze. Courtney used my changing tent to change into a fluttery white sundress and we ran around in the waves! These shots are some of my favorites. Finally, at the end of her session, Courtney changed into jeans and a cream-colored tank and we headed for a fence overlooking the sunset.
I can’t even begin to describe how delighted I am with the outcome of Courtney’s Gardner Massachusetts senior pictures. Courtney was an absolute joy to work with, and her charisma and stunning looks made my job a breeze.
Okay, I better wrap this up before I go on and on! But seriously, capturing Courtney’s senior pictures was an absolute dream come true. I feel so lucky to have been part of this milestone in her life.
If you will need your senior pictures for your yearbook, you’ll want to have them taken the summer before your senior year or the autumn of your senior year. Do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled by April or May of your junior year. However, I very often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire YEAR in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot.
Many of my clients ask “Which month IS a prime spot for senior pictures?” Overall, my high school senior ladies prefer late July, August, or early September for their pictures. On the other hand, I personally prefer late September or October! It’s consistently less humid, less sticky, less buggy, and more golden :-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, don’t worry, there is also an option to book a sunrise session or mid-day session! In addition, you should also absolutely add your name to my waitlist.
Would you like to hire Christina Runnals as your own senior portrait photographer? Then you can book your session now, or find out more about a senior portrait session with Christina Runnals Photography! You can even view all of my pricing and package options here! Hope to hear from you soon!
