Fall is the perfect season for Scituate family photography! The colors are vibrant and the air is crisp, allowing for some truly stunning shots. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing the Sullivan family on a beautiful November evening in a field of tall golden grasses. The setting was simply breathtaking, and the family looked absolutely stunning in their coordinated fall outfits.

About the Session

Let me tell you a bit about the featured session! Mom Nicole wore a gorgeous long-sleeved cream-colored flowy dress adorned with red and blue flowers, while Dad Ryan looked dapper in a dusty blue sweater. Older brother Bennet wore a khaki green jacket, and little brother Cooper wore a chunky knit cream-colored sweater. The outfits blended seamlessly together and created the perfect fall family photo ensemble for this Scituate family photography session!

More About the Family Photoshoot

As a mom of two little boys myself, I understand the importance of capturing those playful family moments. During the Sullivan family photography session, we played games, let the boys wrestle and run around, and captured some truly adorable shots. It was so much fun to see the family’s personalities shine through in the photos.

Professional Makeup – I Highly Recommend It for My Scituate Family Photography Sessions!

One thing that really stood out during the session was Nicole’s stunning makeup. She had it done by Snatched Beauty Bar in Plymouth, and it looked absolutely flawless. I always recommend to my clients that they get professional makeup done for their shoot because it truly takes your photos to a whole new level. Nicole’s makeup added an extra level of elegance and sophistication to the photos.

My Final Thoughts on the Sullivan’s Family Portraits

Overall, the Sullivan family’s fall photography session was a huge success. The location, outfits, and energy all came together perfectly to create some truly beautiful shots. I’m so grateful to have been a part of it and look forward to working with more families to capture their special moments!

Would you like to book Christina Runnals for your own family portraits? Book your session, or find out more about a family session with Christina Runnals Photography!

For your pictures, do keep in mind that you should reserve your session as soon as possible. I recommend booking at least 6 months in advance for June, July, August, and September dates, and 4-5 months in advance for October dates. I often have clients book as early as a year in advance to make sure they secure a prime spot! Because we live in New England, there are only so many months to take your pictures, right!? (That is… unless you want to be wearing snowsuits in your pictures ;-). If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, you can first check to see if I have any Piggyback Sessions available. Another option still is that you could request a sunrise session. I can sometimes make time for an early morning session while my children are still sleeping. Scituate family photography at sunrise is GORGEOUS!!
