About Maddie’s Hopkinton Massachusetts Senior Portraits

Maddie was the very first person to jump on my waitlist after my summer and autumn filled up in early June. I always try my best to accommodate those on my waitlist! Sometimes what ends up happening is that I end up with a BEAUTIFUL summer day in the forecast, a babysitter who wants to come watch my boys, and no session lined up! I HATE wasting a beautiful day with no session! Let’s be honest, here in New England, we only get a few months of beautiful days!! So, I was able to fit Maddie in, woo hoo!

Choosing Outfits for Your Senior Portraits

I loved Maddie’s outfit selections, so I just want to quickly touch on this topic! Maddie chose neutral colors for her first outfit, and a beautiful soft blue dress for her second. I highly recommend neutral colors for your senior portraits. This is because neutral colors photograph beautifully, and will not cast any strange tints onto your skin.

When to Schedule Your Hopkinton Massachusetts Senior Portraits

If you need your senior portraits for your yearbook, you will likely need to have them done by October of senior year for most schools. Do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. In other words, you should ideally have your session scheduled and your invoice paid by May or June of your junior year. However, I very often have clients pre-book their session as early as an entire year in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot. If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, there is an option to request a sunrise session. I can often make time for an early morning session while my children are still sleeping :-). Hope to hear from you soon!
