About The Session

As with so many of my sessions in the summertime, we made a final call about the weather very late in the game! This area is NOTORIOUS for “possible afternoon thunderstorm” predictions! I would say about 85% of the time, the storms end up blowing over and the weather ends up being beautiful. Therefore, it is always such a gamble when I decide to reschedule a session. I hate to cancel and then have it end up being beautiful!! Anyhow, Lydia was well on her way to her session (over an hour drive for her) when it began to downpour and thunder 🤦‍♀️. Normally I would at this point reschedule but she wanted to try anyways, and I’m so glad we did! The pictures are gorgeous- although she did get a little wet in the process of taking them lol.

For your senior pictures, do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. I often times even have clients book as early as a year in advance. This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot! If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, you could email me about a sunrise session. I can often make time for an early morning session while my children are still sleeping :-). Hope to hear from you soon!
