Tip from a Boston Baby Photographer!

Your Baby’s Photo Session Should Take Place in the Early Morning

Everett’s session took place in the early morning. This is my first tip with baby photo sessions. All sessions involving a baby under the age of 18 months should take place in the early morning. This is because most babies are still napping three times a day until they reach about 18 months, and their first nap typically occurs around 8:30 or 9 AM. In addition, children and babies are simply happier in the morning!

My clients receive a style and planning guide from me, and it is important to read it thoroughly! Firstly, it will give you specific instructions on how to prepare your baby or children for their session! As an experienced Boston baby photographer, I can tell you that it is very important to be prepared for your session in this way. Secondly, it will guide you in how to dress your baby or children. This is important to know because the outfits you choose will greatly effect the overall look of your images. If you are looking for that light and natural look, you will need to choose specific colors and styles.
