I am so very excited to share these beautiful family portraits of the Winter family with you all! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I’m Christina Runnals, a Kingston, Massachusetts photographer specializing in creating images that are light filled and full of joy. My blog is a place where I showcase all of my latest sessions. The Winter’s family’s session took place in mid-May at the height of the springtime bloom in New England! We had several gorgeous flowering trees to work with, wait until you see the pinks and whites shining in the sunlight!

If you love the pictures you have seen so far, just wait until you see the rest!! The little baby girl in these pictures, Addison, could not have been cuter. She was unusually cheerful for a baby who is having pictures taken right around their bedtime! In fact, the further we got into the evening, the more cheerful she became 😂 And let’s not forget about the older siblings here! Reese let me take some pictures of her by herself which, if you know me at all, made my absolute day. I specialize in high school senior photography. While Reese is a tad bit older than 18, my time with her felt just like a little mini senior session to me, woo hoo!

Photoshoots with blooming trees

I want to quickly touch on some information about doing shoots in New England with blooming trees. If you would like a family portrait session with blooming trees in the background, and you live in New England, it is practically a must that you have your photos taken between late April and mid May. Blooming and flowering trees do not really exist in New England outside of that time frame! Therefore, if it is something you have your heart set on, you should plan accordingly!

For your family portraits, do keep in mind that you should try to contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance for summer and fall sessions. I often times even have clients book as early as a year in advance to make sure they secure a prime spot! If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, you could email me about a sunrise session. I can often make time for an early morning session while my children are still sleeping :-). Hope to hear from you soon!
