I am so excited to finally be sharing with you all Sydney’s Maine senior portraits! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I’m Christina Runnals, a Massachusetts and Maine senior portrait photographer and family photographer. My photography style is often described as light, bright, and natural. Sydney’s senior portrait session took place in early September when Maine is at its most stunning! We started out her session at Deertrees Theatre in Harrison. I couldn’t believe how amazing this theatre is!! As a former opera singer, I have a huge appreciation for any and all things theatre related. Therefore, I couldn’t believe I had never heard of this special hidden gem! It was fun checking it all out while I was scoping out my favorite spots to shoot.

About the session

I was so excited to do this session because I actually live in Massachusetts and rarely get to shoot in Maine! However, I actually frequent the state of Maine quite often. I reside in Acadia for two weeks each summer (and I grew up living there ALL summer long each year.) Additionally, my husband’s parents live in Harrison and we visit at least once every month or so! Each and every time we drive anywhere in Maine, I can be heard saying over and over again “oh my god that spot would be PERFECT for a shoot” 😂. I have photographed five sessions in Maine and I am always dying to do more! I suppose you could say I would truly love to be a *full time* Maine senior portrait photographer!

For your senior pictures, do keep in mind that you should contact me as SOON as possible to schedule. I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance. I often times even have clients book as early as a year in advance! This is because they want to make sure they secure a prime spot. If you’re booking at the last minute and can’t get the date you want, you could email me about a sunrise session. I can often make time for an early morning session while my children are still sleeping :-). Hope to hear from you soon!
