Megan

Megan is so sweet and had the most gorgeous senior session. She is an amazing athlete and plays soccer, softball, and basketball. Megan chose the beach for her pictures. As a Plymouth senior photographer, the beach is certainly a popular spot for photos. Plymouth is right on the water, which makes beach senior pictures a perfect option. Many of my seniors feel a connection to the beach and love to incorporate it into their session.

Kayla | Field Senior Session by Plymouth Senior Photographer Christina Runnals

Kayla’s session was stunning!! Kayla was a senior rep of mine this year, and she also worked as my assistant for a set of mini sessions I did in October. She is the sweetest girl with an amazing personality. She has a passion for learning photography, and is a true social butterfly who values spending time with her best friends. She choose the cutest red dress for her session, which really gave her photos a pop of color. We took her pictures in two different gorgeous fields.

Brooke

Brooke was so gorgeous for her session, look at that hair!!! #hairgoals! Brooke knew she did not want to go to the beach, so we headed to two different wildflower fields. Her wildflower field senior portraits came out absolutely stunning! Brooke had her hair and makeup included in her session package. Therefore, I set her up with my absolute favorite professional hair and makeup go-to-girl, Shauna at East Coast Primped. Shauna is the absolute best at what she does. In fact, I even have her do my own makeup whenever I have family pictures done with my own family!

Ella | Beach Senior Session with Plymouth Senior Photographer Christina Runnals

Ella chose a field AND a beach for her senior portrait session! This is my FAV combo for a senior session. I was so excited when I first heard from Ella regarding booking her session. She was extremely passionate about wanting LIGHT and bright pictures, which are my speciality of course! I have been a Plymouth senior photographer for years and I seriously meet the BEST people along the way. When I arrived at our session, I met Ella’s mom who is officially one of the sweetest human beings I’ve ever met. They were a dynamic duo and I LOVED our whole time together.

Evan | Downtown Senior Session with Plymouth Senior Photographer Christina Runnals

Ahhhh I don’t get to photograph THAT many senior guys, so I was so excited for Evan’s session! He is the little brother of one of my first students I had when I started teaching 15 years ago. I even taught him guitar lessons for a while when he MUCH smaller- like I’m talking 8 years old probably. (Fun fact- I am a part time elementary school music teacher!). Anyhow, I’ve known Evan and his family forever, and his mom and I had fun walking around downtown Plymouth finding cool spots for pictures. Obviously getting pictures taken is NOT on the top of most guys’ to-do lists, and Evan was no different, but he still managed to have a little fun!

Melanie

Melanie was the sweetest!!! She is a swimmer on a competitive team and swims on her high school team. Melanie snuck into my schedule in the late fall when I had a sudden and rare cancellation! I am so happy she did because I can never have enough senior sessions at the beach!

Katie | Lavender Field Senior Session with Plymouth Senior Photographer Christina Runnals

Katie wanted to have her session at a lavender field!! How amazing is that. I found a cute little lavender field nearby and we headed there one late June afternoon. Lavender blooms until late June and then it is harvested. Therefore, you want lavender field senior pictures, you will need to have your pictures done in May or June! After our lavender field excursion, we hit the beach. This is because Katie chose my Sand Dollar Package, which includes two locations! I have been a Plymouth senior photographer for five years, and I can tell you that my Sand Dollar Package is certainly my most popular senior package!

Emma

Emma! What!? Look at those EYES!!! Can those be real?!! Ahh so gorgeous!! Emma is seriously gorgeous and has the personality to match. She is a serious dancer at a private studio. Additionally, she is captain of the dance team at Plymouth South High School. I’m always so amazed by/jealous of dancers. Wish I could be that graceful and coordinated!! Emma wore the cutest outfits for her session and was an absolute ray of sunshine 🙂

Jenna

Jenna’s senior portrait session was seriously so gorgeous. Jenna is absolutely stunning her pictures ended up looking like she came straight out of a fairytale. We took her pictures at a wildflower field, which was super green. Luckily, she wore a white top. This is important because white helps to reflect beautiful white light onto skin and keep skin tones clean and creamy. As an experienced Plymouth senior photographer, I am trained in capturing clean skin tones at your shoot!

Katrina

Katrina was one of my last sessions of 2021. Hence the very fall vibe to her pictures!! Katrina was my senior session contest winner. She won a free session with hair styling by the incredible Kasey Buckley at Hair by Kase in Plymouth. Side note- if you are looking for a young, trendy and incredibly experienced hairstylist in Plymouth, Kasey is your girl. Anyhow, Katrina’s session was stunning. Katrina is actually a model it turns out!! How lucky for me right?! Katrina is used to posing with serious expressions for her modeling career. Therefore, she wanted her senior session to be SMILEY and happy! I think we nailed it. Katrina is also a serious Irish step dancer, which is totally amazing to me. As a Plymouth senior photographer, I am always amazed to learn about my clients’ many special talents!

Ainslee

Ainslee was so gorgeous at her session, look at that hair! The perfect natural curls. And that smile, and those eyes, oh my goodness. Ainslee had her session at a field and beach- obviously by now you know that’s one of my favorite combos! This girl had a heart of gold and the cutest laugh. I loved meeting her and her sweet mom at our session!

When is the Best Time of Year to Take Senior Pictures?

I have been a Plymouth senior photographer for 5 years now, and I certainly have my favorite times of year to take senior pictures! You should absolutely check with your photographer about what his or her preferences are. I love August, September, and October for senior pictures.

When Should I Book My Senior Pictures with a Plymouth Senior Photographer?

I am personally honored to be in quite high demand for senior portraits, so if you are going to book with me I would recommend booking at least four months in advance. Some of my clients even book my senior portrait services up to a year in advance!! That is amazing dedication and I love it! Find out more and book now if you are thinking of booking for this summer or fall. If you have waited until the last minute and I have no dates left, don’t let that stop you from joining my waitlist! I once in a great while have a last minute cancellation. Additionally, I sometimes see a spurt of beautiful weather coming and decide to open up a few extra dates.
