I photographed the Gallant family this fall and if you know them you know they are just an awesome and beautiful family. So you can imagine how excited I was when Kelly asked me to photograph a sweet little baby boy cake smash for their baby Burke who will be turning one soon!
This cake smash was the cutest!!!! Eek look at those adorable ripped jeans! A baby boy cake smash is so much fun to plan. I always recommend keeping any props as simple as possible, such as a few balloons, flowers, or these giant tissue paper pom-poms. I also think a nice simple “naked cake” is best, with a cute cake topper!
Here are some of my favorites from Burke’s session. The fourth picture down from here makes me laugh every time I look at it! I am loving all of these adorable and messy moments, happy birthday Burke!!!
If you are local to the South Shore and are in of need the best tasting cake on the face of the earth for your own cake smash (or for any occasion for that matter) look no further than Kym Buckovich. Kym bakes out of her home in Scituate and she is one of my favorite go-to’s for cake smash cakes. YUM I can’t even describe how incredible her cakes are, and gorgeous to boot.
