We began our shoot at my favorite garden in Sandwich, and then we hit the beach. Or the boardwalk, to be exact! It was a HOT day for a shoot but Paige wasn’t phased in the least. In fact, she rocked every location and pose I gave her!!! It was *the* most perfect night to be on the beach for photos! Paige even brought along her dogs for a few photos, and they were the cutest!

Top Questions to Ask Your Cape Cod Senior Portrait Photographer

I get lots of questions about senior sessions, so I will highlight a few of my most frequently asked questions here!

How much do senior portraits cost with Christina Runnals Photography?

What happens if it looks like it will rain on the day of my session?

This is a great question. We will reschedule of course!  I can usually reschedule within a week or two of your original session date.  Personally, I prefer to shoot on a sunny evening for that beautiful glow, so I will even offer to reschedule if it is simply very cloudy!  I am happy to shoot in humidity. However, I will gladly reschedule your session if your hair gets frizzy in humidity. In fact, that is a question I ask in my questionnaire you will receive after booking your session!  You definitely do not want frizzy hair for your senior pictures!

Where are some good spots for Cape Cod senior portraits?

There are so many amazing places on Cape Cod for senior portraits! You could literally take your pictures on any adorable street in many of the towns here! White picket fences, cascading roses and hydrangeas… you can’t go wrong! And of course, the beaches. Need I say more? The Sandwich Boardwalk is also stunning, but you will need a skilled photographer to photograph there.

Can I bring my dog to my senior portrait shoot?

This is very dependent on the spots you choose for your location. Dogs are not allowed on many Cape Cod beaches during the summer. As you saw, Paige, brought along her three adorable pooches! However, we only very briefly photographed them in the parking lot of the beach.

When should I book my session?

This will depend on your photographer of course. I am personally honored to be in quite high demand for senior portraits, so if you are going to book with me I would recommend booking at least four months in advance. Some of my clients even book their senior portrait session up to a year in advance!! Find out more and book now if you are thinking of booking for this summer!! If you have waited until the last minute and I have no dates left, don’t let that stop you from joining my waitlist! I once in a great while have a last minute cancellation, or I see a spurt of beautiful weather coming and decide to open up a few extra dates!
